I was really very impressed... I haven't read a fanfiction quite like this, and certainly not one that kept my attention up. You did a great job keeping the characters in character (which is a major problem in the Inuyasha fandom these days) and their conversations realistic. The best part about your fanfiction is that it left me wanting to know more about it. Did they meet again? Does it change the two of them personally? Perhaps they fight together...? Leaving readers with quetsions is always a great sign of a good author with an ability with her words and story telling. I would, actually, be interested myself to see another one-shot like this, possibly a follow-up? Overall, great job! I look forward to reading more of your works in the future!

awww...that was really sweet. i love this. :) i love the way kagome was kind to her and got to know her...and i like how kikyou was "not so lonely" anymore at the end. really good job. ^_^

I really enjoyed this story- it's creative and well-written. You took an idea that seemed implausible and made it interesting and believable. You did a great job demonstrating Kagome's cheerful and friendly character. One thing, though-- I don't think Kagome would sit Indian-style... Japanese women almost always kneel or sit with their legs to the side. I liked how you contrasted the two characters' seating styles, but it struck me as a little inauthentic. Anyway, that's just a minor detail. Overall, great story!

I have to admit I was a little sceptical at first. However, on readint his I found it to be a very interesting piece. The idea was quite different and worked out very well. Ironic that is was a heart, as in a way the two already share one heart, the one that holds so much love for Inuyasha. Good luck & best wishes, Hououza
