...Then, with as much perfect timing as an armed convict in a four-wheel drive, with a bleeding hostage in the passenger seat, smashing through the wall of a house (while shouting vulgar profanities) in which a little, adorable girl was celebrating her fifth birthday while her friends and family were right in the middle of singing the 'Happy Birthday' song, Shigure's sing-song voice called from the door. my initial reaction to that sentence was at first, "..." and then i burst out laughing. ^_^

I really enjoyed it.I liked how you made the chapter so short. Although, it would have been nice if you made their moment more tasteful than.. "I love you". Then they kiss. Overall, I enjoyed it. Just keep your fanfics sweet.

Really cool story, I think you had the characters dead on! Although Yuki was a little mean-spirited, I suppose you needed to villainize him a bit for her to pick Kyo. Another few chapters regarding everyone's reaction would have been cool too, but anyways, great story!

This is a very cute fanfic, I love the Kyo/Tohru pairing. I didn't mind your short chapters, I hate having to scroll down for 8 years to get to the end of a chapter. Everyone was pretty much in character, except for Yuki just before and during the fight (He was acting more like Akito!). And that's okay, a little oocness is all right every now & then in fanfiction. It was a very enjoyable little fic, and I hope you keep writing!
