I can't believe more people haven't read and reviewed this piece - their loss!! I can't remember the last time I read something that moved me so deeply - I've been crying, really crying for half an hour now. No, wait, I can remember - and it was when I read Cold Mountain, and that was a damned fine book. This is an incredibly well-crafted piece of writing- probably the best piece of Saiyuki ff I have read yet, even if it is so darn sad! The depth of emotion in it is awesome, very finely drawn, very true to the characters, and so very very clear and vivid. This author has a real gift, and we are lucky that she shares it with us so generously. Write on, Befanini-sama!!

I should have read this a long time ago. It was beautiful, especially knowing how it ends in part three. My heart aches for both Gojyo and Sanzo, more than words can express, and the way you tell this story is just so intensely emotional, I seriously don't think I've ever read anything quite so sad. I also really appreciate the clean quality of your writing. I didn't catch a single error or bit of awakward phrasing. It shows that you really take your talent seriously, as well you should, and it makes the experience of reading that much more rewarding. I hope you continue to write and share your work for a long time to come.
