This is not a Continuation. It is an Alternative Universe. Your other story, "Under the Hunter's Moon" is also an Alternative Universe and not a Continutation. Unless you use the facts in the canon Inuyasha storyline and continue the canon story based on the facts of the manga/anime, it is not a Continuation. Since you have altered the canon facts in this story and in "Under the Hunter's Moon," your stories should be categorized as Alternative Universe stories. A lot of people may get irritated that you label the stories in the wrong category so please correct it. Also, Inuyasha turns human on the new moon (when there is no moon in the sky, which is opposite of the full moon), not the full moon. I hope this helps. Good luck with your stories.
