I've been at the Rhein once, actually ^^ I does give a sense of freedom, wide and calm yet untamed as it is. But is it really a happy ending? I would not say so, for while Youji may be free, he is still far from happy... or is it just my impression? But he is free, certainly, free to walk any path he might like. And though he might feel lonely, it is still a hopeful... ending? I'd rather say beginning.

okay so i've been a bit delayed in everything, but congrats on your first post to MM.org! that being said i really like the ending you gave this fic, with Yohji seeming to finally be together, and at peace with himself

Cool, a mostly-happy ending for Yohji. Interesting! Germany surprised me, but I like that he liked the river.
