I have to admit that the idea was cute, but the ending wasn't right in my opinion. I don't believe that Kenshin and Kaoru would act like in front of Kenji, asleep or not; they're both so polite and shy, especially Kenshin. I also noticed that a few things were slightly off kilter, such as Kenshin's feelings about his past while Kaoru is in his arms. I don't know if this was supposed to be slightly AU or what, but in the anime Kenshin is still trying to atone when he dies. He never feels that he has a new beginning with Kaoru; he can't leave his past behind, even though he loves her.
Anyway, overall you did well - just some minor slip-ups in spelling (ie, Tome instead of Tomoe) and grammar. I don't want you to think this is a flame; it's only constructive criticism (the best kind!). I don't send flames, because... well, I wouldn't want one myself. ^^v |
