How very emotionally written, realistic and heart wrenching. Good job! I wish you would go back to writing DBZ fics!

Great story. The final is almost poetic. Thank you!

This was extremely well done. Bulma's emotions are so authentic---perhaps because I know them so well? Life is what it is. I also really liked it because Bulma resolved it for herself; Vegeta didn't offer any platitudes or OOC revelations. Her understanding of Vegeta doesn't require them now (if it ever did? Maybe once upon a time.) I like how it shifts. One can almost see the blurring of time from one scene to another. Life is like that too. It's poignant and uplifting in its mood with the lesson that perhaps every moment of our lives is goodbye--or should be. Lovely. PS: Sorry it took me so long to get to this. I'm going through my mailbox in order, trying to catch up.

Wow, what a beautiful piece. It was just so... so *human*, so honest in Bulma's emotions and feelings about growing older. Something we can all relate to, in some way. It almost brought tears to my eyes. Just goes to show that in the hands of a good author even a work as short as this one can be very powerful.

really great. Loved it. You're a very talented writer. I enjoy reading your storys, very much. keep up the good work, and if you like, continue this one, I think that it would be a great fic.

Very melancholy, for me anyway. But this made me smile: "that is, he was careful enough not to kill her, but he always took her as if against his own will, as if he fought a monster inside himself to keep from biting her limbs off, tearing her flesh." I just got a big ol' chuckle out of that one.

The ideas and emotions you conjured in this are inspiring. Your ending lines always give me a sense of closure and acceptence and this is what I believe Bulma was feeling. I loved it. Thanks

Wonderful! Absolutly wonderful! This is the first fic ive read about that span in time in Bulma and Vegetas life. Ive often thought about how Saiyans age diffrently then humans but never put it into perspective with Bulma and Vegeta. I wish you would write one from Vegeta's point of view. That would be beatiful as well. I love your ideas on Bulma and Vegeta's relationship and you always seem to hit it right on the mark for me. I hope you do continue with your work with DBZ Bulma/Vegeta stuff.....its pure brillance......Its hard to make me love One shots so much, but you have and you do....thank you so much!

I shouldn't have read this, but I did, because it made me cry. It's a beautiful, emotional picture and I love it for making me sad.

It's been ages since I read a DBZ fic - but I'm glad I took the time to stop and read this one. It wasn't what I expected from you - which is only to say you surprised me... and it was a lovely surprise. Nice job, Deb.
