Fabulous chapter! Loved the return of the intrigue with Haru -- I'd forgotten all about that. I'm wondering, what are Inuyasha's plans and intentions towards Kagome? If Sesshoumaru isn't going to take her as his mate, he still can. Is he planning to stay with her at this house Sesshoumaru is having built? He certainly still seems to care. But, whoa! What was that stray thought of kagome's that Shippou was the only male who was probably a virgin? Who the heck does she think Inuyasha's been with? As a hanyou, he's pretty much an outcast -- not a desireable partner for a youkai, and humans sure don't want to have anything to do with him. And Kikyou was certainly too cold and reserved to do something so earthy, even when she was alive. She wanted a human man to be with. And yikes! Does Sesshoumaru know how painful this process is that Kagome's going through? Cho was checking to see if she was still alive! If he doesn't know, I hope he finds out. We're really into the meaty part of the story now, aren't we? This is awesome! Can't wait for more!

It was so great to see a new chapter for this!! SO much happened in it, too. Loved the way Kagome stood up for her youkai friends. Interesting little talk she had with Sango -- asking her if she was flitting from one brother to the other. What HAS happened to her feelings for Inuyasha? And what is going on with his feelings for her? You did a beautiful job with the scene of her and Kouga -- just about had me in tears. Poor ookami. And I am dying to know what Sesshoumaru wanted to talk to Inuyasha about when they trailed behind the group. Inuyasha has been acting a little strange -- getting so embarrassed all the time. And I have to wonder, what will Sesshoumaru do when HE actually hears someone say Kagome is his whore? Is he still thiking of sticking to their deal? Or is he considering something more? I can't wait to see what you have in mind to happen next!!

I got a few min. to myself as my mother watches the new baby and thought what the heck i'll take a look and there it was. a new chapter... YAY. Awsmoe. love where the story is going. can't wait till the next ch. Though god knows when i'll get a chance to read it. Take care ...^_~

I've really enjoyed this fic, but these two latest chapters... They are very well written, but I don't really think they fit into the story as it is. I think you should make them a one-shot beside the main story. Some of the events could appear as flashbacks, perhaps, but two long chapters with them? Hmm... And Naraku? (I assume he's the guy in the baboon pelt) I'm assuming you are changing some of the canon parts, as he wasn't really "created" until Inuyasha was adult and had met Kikyo. But if you can find a good way to tie this all together, then I'm pleased. :) Aaah, can't it be the new moon soon? >:D I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapters!

I love the story so far and cannot wait to read more, when will you post a new chapter? By the way I loved this chapter, it certainly explained a lot about sesshomaru and how kind Izayaoi tried to be to sesshomaru and how poorly his own mother treated him. Keep up with the good work!

Vry nice. That chapter explained a lot. It really DID seem like Inu Tashio was being unreasonable towards Sesshoumaru, but he did explain his reasoning for his actions. Sad that Izyaoi got the taiyoukai killed in an effort to spare Sess more punishment, which would have come because of her complaints. For someone who knew how to work her husband so well, she was sadly off base that time. Such a sad, but interesting situation among the brothers -- each jealous of the other for such different reasons. And Naraku contacted Haru all those years ago? But wasn't Naraku a product of Onigumo and many demons only after Inuyasha met Kikyou? Love the length and detail of your chapters. You're doing such an excellent job with this story. I was so happy to see a new chapter posted!
