"Neko no Yume - Cat of Dreams" Reviews/Comments [ 5 ]

Comment/Review:
I just wanted to tell you, your title actually translates to Dream of Cat(s), not Cat of Dreams. In Japanese, the possessive particle "no" acts on the second subject, not the first. For example, "Ie" is house and "Watashi" is I/me/mine/my. So if one "House of me/mine" and more colloquially translate, "My house." See?

A rousing success! What a great story. You capture all the best elements of both worlds and meld them into a smooth whole. (Oooh--kinda like a hairy cusinart!!!) Please ignore her, she hasn't had her medication. This is an excellent fic and a great read. Your turn of phrase is something to be proud of. (I missed Leon! Want my cuddly Detective bishie!!) *sigh* Sorry. Let me go put her out of harm's way. (Don't wanna! Don't wanna-don't wanna-dontwanna dontwannadontwanna!!!!)

Thank you for a fabulous story so far. The concept of a PSOH/FB crossover intrigued us long before Akita found "Long Denied." You have a good grsp of the characters and Kyo's motivations behind his 'losses' to Yuki are absolutely (That means very, very, very-K.) believable. Akita, You want another go-round with Prince Valium? (*eep!*) Thank you, that's better. Now, hush up while the adults are talking. Anyway, Kyo was very in character and Yuki as well. Particularly like your descriptions of the reactions of the rat-spirit faced with an unknown cat-"fear chittering through him"-very apt wording. And don't worry about the not-really-a-specific-pairing-in-mind thing. The story doesn't actually need it. Yume is a character in her own right, and as fully realized as Kyo or Yuki. (And more than a match for Akito! YAY!!) Akita! Great story and we hope to read more. K&S

Once again, you've completely captivated my attention. I would have NEVER thought of this crossover, and the fact that you're focusing on Kyo is, of course, my all-time favorite thing about your stories. Yume, huh? Heeee...^_^ I foresee a LOT of fun in Kyon-chan's future. Hehehe...Good job! Update soon! Daaaaaisuki!
