Interesting. Kagome is almost in Tomoe's shoes here. I take it this story is going to be a long one and I look forward to seeing how his work will be kept secret from her (folders still hiding on the kitchen floor?) and how her vendetta will manifest once she knows. I think it's interesting that she is the one carrying the reverse blade and his thoughts on the matter were amusing (worthless except to sell?). We'll see how his thoughts on it mature. I hope we see it in his hands before the fic is through. Good work!

I like this story! VERY original and creative! I can't wait to see where this goes as Kenshin's true personality throws Kaoru further off course from their combined pasts' connection. Looking forward to the next chapter! P

Hi, I was really surprised to read that you had never been to Japan, I think you described quite a few things realistically, in particular the train trip Kaoru took. I've been to Japan a few times, and believe me, I find it really bad when people write fanfiction set in Japan, but really they base their observations of their own home country. Thanks for putting in the effort! (I will note, there are a couple of errors, but nothing that really detracts from the story)

I've been waiting for an update on this story; I absolutely love it. It reminds me a bit of a fic from forever ago, but only for a brief moment. I know all this hard work is yours! I'm eager to see Kaoru's reaction when she wakes up; looking forward to chapter 3!
