Even though it had been heartbreaking beyond words for Ryou to hear, it also must have made him feel more connected to Bakura when his dark had yelled at his gods that he had found what he wanted in Ryou and wasn't ready to go. And, Ryou, to have waited all that time, to have not given up, to have remained faithful. But, both were rewarded in the end for their sacrifices. Very nice story.
