Well, I can't really say I like Kikyou. For one, she tried to kill Kagome and she's mean to her when Kagome's nothing but nice back. Kagome even SAVED Kikyou's life once and she didn't even say "thank you"!! I also don't like her because she wants to kill Inuyasha just so Kagome can't have him and she steals the souls of the dead to stay alive. She only wanted to be with Inuyasha if he used the jewel to become fully human, so if you think about it, she really WASN'T the 1st one to accept him for who he was, it was Kagome. I'm not trying to bash on her, she has a FEW good things about her.. Like, she did take care of the sick and wounded when she was alive and she helped people. That's really the only thing I like about her, but in my opinion, Kagome is much better. I LOVE angst and I understand that she's really easy to make angsty. This poem really brings out a different perspective of her character and I do agree, her character can be exagerated sometimes.. Anyway, I just thought I'd comment on this poem since I haven't yet.. ^_~

"someday your heart will again beat" was exactly what happened to Inuyasha. Nice way to end it. You did really well on portraiting Kikyo's feelings. I mean come on, although she might seem like a cold-hearted wench, she was still in love with him. Also, she IS a human... -_-; I don't like Kikyo that much either, but sometimes people can overexaggerate her character. Which in your poem didn't! And I loved it for that very fact of it. So THANK YOU! n_n
