Very nice. I just finished reading Mating Season and am glad I read the author's note because it mentioned this story. It fit in really well with the established story. I liked the characters reactions to one another, I could really feel Kagome's emotions. And poor Inuyasha just didn't know how to react. Great job.

really liked this story... i think you did a really good job going into the depth of this scene since mating season did not... but great job!!!!

Amazing story. I love mating season and this was a wonderful one shot on the story. I could really feel Kagome's turmoil. It was wonderful that she was able to speak with her father as an adult and that she knew that he was proud of her. It was great that Inuyasha hugged him and that Kagome's father was able to meet him and was able get to know each other on some level. I'm sure Kagome was glad her dad was able to meet her husband/mate. I can really relate to that. My dad never got to meet my husband and it has always been one regret I will always have to live with. Terrific story. Keep up the superb works. You are on my favorite authors list now so I am awaiting your next story. YOU ROCK! ---Amy

It was a good story. Great take on SplendentGoddess' story Mating Season with the characters. Plus there isn't too many fanfics dealing with Kagome's father so this is truly a creative take on this little known subject.

Oh this is really really wonderful! I am a huge fan of "Mating Season" and this is such a nice tribute to it, yet stands alone fantastically as well! The chopping vegetables excuse was creative and original...totally something Kagome and InuYasha would come up with....LOL
