Ok so I spelled 'bound' wrong... I feel like such a moron (god I hope I spelled it right this time... heh heh) Ok on to the purpose of this new post... a sort of flame if you will. What the hell!?! You used to post once a week or two? I used to check for updates several times a day, just cuz the rest of your posts followed a sort of schedule once-a-week thing... Then I started to check only once a day and evenually to once every few days... You know how hard it is going through your day hoping for something only to have your hope smashed to little itty-bitty peices to non-existence every time you get on your computer?!? *crys* WHY!!! WHY ARE YOU SO CRUEL!!! No hard feelings I hope... just verbalizing my despair, still love your work, and personally I don't think you could post fast enough to keep me happy ^_^

Hey Emerald-san, you're American right? I dunno wheather you know about it or not, but currently there's a Zelda contest featuring TLoZ-Phantom Hourglass vaild until the 21th of October. You can find out more about it through this link: http://zelda.com/universe/game/phantomhourglass/sms_contest.jsp I'm not telling you this to advertise the contest or anything, but since you're also a Zelda fan, it wouldn't hurt to tell you about it no? Also, the questions are fairly easy and there seem to be a lot of prizes to boot. I cannot participate unforunetly, because I come from a minaturated populated dot called Malta (if you ever even heard of it, that is), and the contest is valid only for American residents. Must be nice to be American and have decent contests...*sigh* Good luck with the contest, and please update this story whenever you can, thank you!

I'm happy that you kept this fic dark but with a chirpy and realistic view of LoZ. People tend to forget that most LoZ plot has quite a lot of dark in it despite that most of the games are aimed for children. Zelda always had dark elements anyway, and not just starting from "Majora's Mask". Like from "LttP", Link's uncle dies almost right at the beginning of the game. Like in "Majora's Mask", Skullkid was possessed by said mask and via him he cursed many people with jinxes. Not to mention the cursed and floody fate that Hyrule lands had to face throughout "Wind Waker". And now, your Link has to face monsters, witches, curses, dragons, even pink bunnies, when all he wanted was a quiet life spent happily and peacefully. But that wouldn't be good for the francise no? Well, just because you were forced to become a hero, doesn't mean that you can't complain about it. And that's what I like of your Link of all, him actually complaining about it. It's just so...human.

I'm glad that you didn't just totally focus your TLoZ story on OoT and kept it at that like most Zelda fans do. I'm a Zelda fan too and frankly, I'm quite sick of listening or reading about OoT here and there everywhere all the time. Sure, it was probably one of the best Zelda games ever created, but it's definity not THE best. True, ten years ago, the graphics were fantastic, the gameplay was wonderful, and the plot was breath-taking. Yes, very nice indeed. The problem is that most LoZ fans want to stay stuck to that game. Instead of letting improvment flow in the LoZ universe, fans decided that Zelda is OoT in general, and that the other games could never be any better than it, no matter what drastic improvement or awards they gave off. For example, LoZ-Wind Waker got heavily criticied because Nintendo wanted to improve from realistic graphics to CG form, & wanted to cut away medivel elements from OoT to improve the OoT countinuation without borrowing from that game much. They complained that there was too little OoT elements in it. TP recived the same critic but in the opposite way. It improved the graphics in a realistic way and made the storyline even more darker than usual like in Majora's Mask. But it still got unfairly stepped over because most said that it borrowed too many elements from OoT. Huh? Does it make any sense to you? Maybe so, since you did use OoT elements in your story, but in decent portions, and not only that, you didn't just use OoT background for it. You used the whole of Zelda (you even included the wicthes) and gave actual importance to the Goddesses as well. If you don't call that Zelda, then you're a Mario dork. XD

I absolutly love reading this story. The classic Zelda elements found from both LttP and OoT, like the Pink Bunny and the differ races like the Zoras truly gave me a nostalgic feeling for both games. I also liked the added touch of adding sensible quotes said from great thinkers to great people at the beginning of each chapter, from Mahatma Gandhi to Aristotle, give you a fair idea of what the chapter will be about through them. It's quite an original idea really.

I absolutly loved the traditional bit were Link saw the decorated windows which told him about the Trials that he has to face in order to fufill the Legend that surrounds his heroic fate. The Trials are (obviously) the monsters that he has to face throughout his journey in order to defeat the final obscale with the aide of the Triforce. I adore how in the first 3 windows there is a different Goddess aiding him depending on the adversary. Even though it's them who granted the divine powers to the Triforce users, sia good or bad, they somehow get ignored through most of the games except in certain dialouges. I think people know more about how the Triforce is formed in 3 pieces rather than the 3 who actually created it. LOL, the irony. On the fourth one there is Link fighting the storm (Ganondorf?) face to face along with the help of a girl with holy powers (who most probably is Tingle XDD). The fifth and final one is the most symbolic, much like the actual Zelda games. Link is with his sword raised above the heavens, meaning that either he's charging the storm above him to a challenge or he is rising his sword in victory against it. Also, the Triforce could mean two things. One, it definitly symbolises the 3 Goddesses who created the Triforce in their respective elements, Wisdom, Power and Courage. Also, with Link being the chosen hero facing the storm with courage, the powerful storm being Ganondorf facing Link with confidence and fearsomeness, and with the light streaming around the Triforce with knowlege about it, it could mean one thing: that the 3 pieces of the Triforce are going to clash up to a climatic battle at a certain point, and when that will happen, the Triforce will become whole once again. Either that, or I'm too deep. Can't wait to see what will happen next! :3

Enter the vicked victhes, Koume and Kotake! I really hoped that they'll appear soon enough throughout the story, even if just a little. Not that I'm a fan of theirs, but I really do enjoy fighting against them in LoZ games, they're quite a challange despite them being old ladies!-Errr, no offence Koume and Kotake...^_^''' Fire and Ice combined with perfect co-ordination and aged wisdom surprisingly leaves you quite badly hurt indeed, no matter how many lives one's got. And if you think in OoT lines, it was them who raised Ganon(dorf) to become the famous Zelda villian that he has become and still is, so no wonder they're something to worry about in the LoZ universe. And with your perspective of the LoZ universe, they're 10x even more troublesome and powerful than in the actual game. Can't wait to see more evil coming! Some hope that Vaati will pop out somehow? (Can't wait to see more of Link too, of course! That cliffhanger at the end is a bugger! XO)

Good Lord. This Zelda story is absolutly amazing. I'm not saying this out of kindness because you're quite famous with your golden Inuyasha fictions. I'm saying this because it IS ABSOLUTLY A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I'm not that of a Zelda fan, heck, I'm not even a gamer to begin with, but after reading your story, I got so inspired from it that I actually Wikipeadiad to know what exactly Legend of Zelda was all about, saw many Zelda game clips from "Ocrania of Time" (pardon my bad game title-spelling) to "Wind Waker" on YouTube, and bought "The Legend of Zelda-Twilght Princess" Wii game for the sake of actually owning something about that wonderful universe, even though I probably couldn't play it due to not owning a Wii console or having any relatives owning it. No matter though, I'll still conserve it for that time when I'll somehow get enough cash to own that expensive console. Meanwhile, I have to say again that the story is pretty good, and the characters are so well-developed that I could almost see them materielaze in real people. Yes, I know that witches don't exist, and yes, I know that Link doesn't speak, but come on, how could a hero(ine) be a hero without having to pass through inner struggles and without having self-doubt, even if for just a little bit? The Zelda story is great, but it's nice to add a such realistic hero that doesn't just swing around his sword, roll around the country and stays mute for anything said to him. For that, I applaud you. I look foward for the next chapter.

Holy shit you can write! ~grovels in your aurthorly awesomeness~ I LOVED this story and its possibly the best story, bond or unbond, that I have ever read (and I read alot.) You need to get paid for this, seriously. Hell I think this story is giving me a greater appreciation to the whole Zelda series since now you have given the series a 'how it all started.' (Heh heh I had forgotten about the pink bunny, at first I thought it was a some sort of twisted humor, but then I remembered it was from LttP; from a moment it gave my a good WTF?!? feeling lol.) Oh and one more VERY important thing...... Post again ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~fangirl squeals and runs off to reread~ lol
