You don't have a very high opinion of Shippo, do you? He's almost as selfish and inconsiderate as he was in "Live and Let Die." For my own part I wouldn't portray him that way, but I'm perfectly fine with the fact that you do. I loved the way you had Inuyasha and Kagome get together, and what they said and didn't say to each other. It was very believable. Another quality one-shot.

you've captured the way shippo intrudes PERFECTLY and as every other one of your fanfics are it was absolutley stunning

i really enjoyed this fic. very intriguing and nicely written. i've only read read a fic that dealt with a character going blind twice, and one of those were never completed. and the way you've done Shippo's character is brilliant. i think it's interesting that you had her to destroy the necklace at the end. i've realized tha you've done that more than once. i think u do that all the time. i'm also happy to see that you've updated Minoue, which I shall be reading and reviewing soon. I hope u write more one-shots

Congratulations!! Literary Goddess!! You have done it again!! Another shining example of your highly talented writing!! Bravo!! (sorry for not reviewing here sooner) I was thrilled beyond words with the story! The tension! The angst! The tenderness! The humour! and the Sweet kisses! Yeps!! I loves my Squish moments!! Love it! You pegged the characters prefectly! The way Inuyasha had closed up and began to spiral into self destruction from the disablity the realistic way you have pointed out the reality of Inuyasha's enemies who would kill him in an unfair fight sent shivers up and down my spine! The realistic way he already heightened and sharp senses would cause him distress at becoming that much more powerful in order to compensate for the loss of sight!! The way Shippou was the horse's behind and finally caused a injury to someone in the group! I shuddered! The way Kagome's stubbornness was a brillant matching force for Inuyasha's stubbornness at his disability! The way she could speak to him and get through his mind set! I loved it when she wanted to take him through the well to protect him until he healed fully! I loved the realistic way you described the poison sacs in the snake! Swoons!! Supreb!! I did inwardly chuckle at the way Kagome was shouldering all the blame and then when Inuyasha made the statement of justing letting him die and abandoning him that she came out of her self blame! How they can ease the others minds, hearts and souls! When Sesshoumaru and Rin showed up with the others I was beaming with pleasure! I loved how Kagome went immediately to protect Inuyash from him!! Very much what Kagome would do! How sweet when little Rin spoke her soft words to Kagaome that Sesshoumaru canuse his sword on Inuyasha, the hint at humour Sesshoumaru displayed was Astoundingly amazing! When they mentioned taking him into the cave to heal his sight!! Wow!! Completely enthralled!! Yes!! I love the way you paint these masterpieces with your words! Not the way Kagome imagined confessing her love for Inuyasha but it was perfect!! and the ending! It was so perfect! The way they are mature about waiting knowing it would be worth waiting for!! I can't wait to see more!! You Totally Rock!! Please keep up the Most Awesome work!!

I was expecting a fic about Inuyasha coming to realize he wasn't worthless even with a disability, or a sweet interlude where he comes to admit that he needs help without feeling like it devalues him. Instead, I found a glorified rant about Shippo. You've taken all of his 'worst' attributes and magnified them 100 times over. Yes, he and Inuyasha pick on each other. Is he spoiled? Maybe. But he also tries to be useful and has been known to defend Inuyasha to people like Koga. Even if you don't like a character, as an author you should realize that the other characters in the canon ~do~. The Shippo hatred and venom toward him completely overshadows the tenderness between Kagome and Inuyasha and as such I don't think you accomplished the idea that was requested. Now if someone 'prompted' you to write a fic where Shippo is a one-dimensional secret-Naraku offspring, you'd have it pinned.

Loved the story! Inuyasha telling Kagome to go with Sess must have been so hard for him! Wanting her to be safe even if it has to be with his bother just shows how much he cares for her. I love your portrayal of Shippo...he can just such a little ass sometimes!

that was so sweet! although it would have been interesting for him to have discovered how to function with his blindness before he got his sight back... i've seen documentaries about blind people using things like 'echo location' to navigate, they use a clicker, they ride bikes, roller skate, etc... ~ a pleasure, ginny

Very nice. Your one-shots are always a treat! I liked Sesshoumaru using the Tenseiga to heal his eyes. That was a nice touch. And the way Rin told them he was sincere was hilarious. Shippou always makes such an interesting little antagonist in a lot of your stories. I like the way you incorporated recent manga events into this. Nice!
