What an amazingly well-written story!!!!!! I absolutely LOVE your use of "The Raven", I had to read it aloud, it's such a great poem. And the whole InuYasha/Kaou realization moment was just superb.

Okay, melting right down into a puddle of goo now after that ending. In most song/poem fics you can (and I almost always do)skip right over the song or poem part and just read the story without what is almost always an annoying interruption that disrupts the momentum of the story but you've done a really good job of integrating the poem with the story. Each part contributes to a greater understanding of the other.

to be able to take such a sad, forlorn piece and use it as a means to an uplifting, waff end, shows such talent and understanding. i will never read the raven in the same way again. thank you for opening my mind to new possibilities.

Amazing as always! I don't know how you did it, but you took another simple idea and ran with it -- turning it into a memorable tale no one can forget. You truly have a gift for writing. I'm a bit picky when it comes to grammar, spelling and style -- you make a 10 across my board!

Fun and fluffy piece. I like it. I like that Inu realized he was like the man in the poem. I also liked the raven showing up at the end. That made me laugh. The only thing I would have you change is the word prophet. You misspell it everywhere that it isn't in the poem. Thanks for sharing with us@!

Wow...Personally I Love Edgar Allan Poe And Especially Love "The Raven." But That Put A Whole New Factor Into It. It Was Extremely Well Written And No Spelling Errors Thank God. I Have To Thank You For Putting In The Whole Poem. If Anything You Have A Fan Right Here.

*gasp* I loved it!! What a great explanation of what Inuyasha has to deal with in his choice between Kikyo and Kagome. Most people just dismiss Kikyo, but you actually looked at how Inuyasha was feeling and treated the situation honestly. Not to mention you chose a great poem that I also enjoy. :) Great job!

That was good. I liked how it fit with the cannon of the magna. I thought you did a great job with Poe's poem, and now I have a better understanding of the poem. Thank you! Poetry and I don't get along--even though I'm a fan of Poe's work. One of my favorite peices--no matter how morbid it is---is Anabell Lee. Until your next story, Chanda

Way to show Inuyasha disappointing everyone's expectations. =D Really, how can people believe he's an idiot if he managed to survive on his own all this time? Insensitive maybe, but that probably has something to do with a lack of socialization. The phrase "brutally honest" comes to mind... I enjoyed your insightful interpretation of what his choice really consists of. Thanks!
