I'm normally not a fan of cutting the Kazuma/Yukina relationship but thankfully you made that cut somehow both sad and beautiful while keeping faith to the cannon of it. I must thank you profusely for your portrayal of Kazuma -far too often he's portrayed in a negative light and I too am one who believes there is so much more to him than 'goofy, bumbling idiot' that most credit him. I adore the way you went on about the souls and blending and lightening. As I read I kept wondering who you were pairing and truthfully I wasn't expecting a triad. And yet... it is probably the most beautiful triad relationship I've seen blossom. All without any sexual overtones -which really makes it that much more beautiful. *sheepish* No matter how I sometimes enjoy reading the 'mature' after effects. I love the growth of a relationship THIS way better. Much better. In fact, I can't imagine anything more perfect than the joy & love of souls in such a fashion. The involvement of Kouga and his wolves was simply wonderful. I like how he let Kagome go and yet was still protective of her -especially her heart. It showed in a very simple and quick way how much the wolf prince had grown. He's so often kept as one who refuses to see the obvious that it was more than refreshing to have such insight. I loved this.

Okay, where's the red paint? Just when I thought the "L" was wearing off my forehead, I find out that I forgot to review the last chapter. *sigh* I should just have it tattooed on there. This was a perfect ending to a lovely story. Let me take it step by step. I was so happy with the way you portrayed Kagome's welcome when they came to apologize. She was cautious andshe didn't offer them tea. THAT was telling. Then they started out making idle talk until she just asked them point blank what they wre doing. Good for her! Kuwabara tried to apologize and they realized she was afraid the had come to take Shippou. And he was wary of them, too. Kurama's realizations about her were very warm and touching. I was glad she didn't make it easy for them. And if they weren't after Shippou, she thought they must want informationfrom her for the Reikai. She had believed that neither of them had any personl interest in her, --especially after Kurama brought back the scrolls that Kuwabara had borrowed. She was sure h couldn't have read them because he didn't ask her about the jewel. So, she was surprized when he told her he DID use them for his research paper. However, Kurama was completely in shock. He still had no clue exactly who she was. LOL!! So much came out in this chapter! Then, when kuama told her that they both loved her, she felt guilty. Right on cue. Of course she would! Then Kurama suggests the triad. While I'm sure both of the humans there were stunned, Kuwabara was more concerned with assuring her of is feelings and he kissed her. Woo hoo! I was so intrigued by the way you had Kuwabara say so matter-of-factly that one of them would have to marry her, and it would have to be Kurama. She was so indignant on his behalf, I just have to wonder who she really DID end up marrying. ^_^ At first, I was waiting for her to kiss Kurama or for him to kiss her, too, but it really was perfect that she gave him a series of subtle touches, like you described. It really highlighted his kitsune nature in a way I don't think I've ever seen another writer do before. Bravo!! I loved the picture you painted of them sitthing there on the couch. (And I hope that someday you really DO draw them! *hint hint*) Both poses were perfect -- the one with her and Kurama on thecouch with Kuwabara on the floor and her fingers in his hair, then when she got down in Kuwabara's lap and Kurama stretched out on the couch behind them. I could just SEE him draping his arm over Kuwabara's shoulder to touch her face. This, more than anything, gave me a sense of a perfectly harmonious future for the three of them. Add in some rugrats, tumbling on the floor with Shippou, while the adults look on. ^_~ This story just left me with a smile on my face. You did a lovely job with it!! Thanks for sharing it!!

Wah! I'm so happy they all got back together! And how! A triad! What a perfect conclusion! I was worried about who you were going to leave out! I'm so glad Kagome got them both- and how much they realise that she's so special they're willing to share! What a perfect end to a perfect story! Kudos, and thanks for entertaining me!~x

Wowee! I really love this fic! Everyone is so IC, and I never, EVER thought of Kuwa as a potential lover interest for Kagome! I love how your potray how much of an impact she can make on peoples lives- both for Kuwa, who was rejected like herself, and Kurama, who has a past as she has! Your plot is so lifelike...instead of Kurama being portrayed (wrongly, as he is so often) as a woman eater, who will betray his friends on whim for a quick lay, you've shown the softer side and the Kurama that I know and love!! I really can't wait to see how this works out- despite Kuwa's beautiful potrayal, I'm still rooting for Kurama to get the girl- but another chapter will satsify me, no matter the outcome! It's always so refreshing to see not only original IY/YYH fiction, but also well described, heartwarming and provocative writing too! Kudos! ^.^

I thought I had already written my review up here, but ... Sorry!!! This was a great chapter! You hit all the right notes. Kurama's thoughts set it all up perfectly. I laughed at Kuwabara being close to finishing his history research paper. How did YOU do, btw? ^_~ I loved Kurama's anger anger at Kuwabara for throwing away the little paradise they had created. He was angry on Kagome and Shippou's behalf, but also because he felt rejected, too. I was really struck when Kurama told him that kagome would never doubt him and Kuwabara confessed that it would be HIM doubting HER and it wouldn't even be HER fault. It's so sad, but so true how our past hurts can influence our actions and feelings. The last little visit Kurama had with Kagome was so awkward and sad. She knew exactly what he was doing and was so hurt by it, but she refused to show it. She was polite and tried to be so casual about the whole thing. I loved the way you talked about the "open secret" between them concerning their knowledge of each other's supernatural natures and powers. Kuwabara got a real deep look into Kagome's life and relationship with Inuyasha through those scrolls and was so determined not to hurt her again. It's all so tragic that they're all so concerned with not hurting each other and doing what's best for each other that they're blowing it so badly. But really, Kurama is the only one who can probably conceive of a way for it to work, and only once he accepts that all three of them need to be together to produce that harmony of spirits that they all enjoyed. Kouga's appearance was sheer genius. I just about cracked up when Kuwabara said, "You're that wolf leader!" "Damn straight, and that must mean you're the other dumbfuck who made a mess at my miko's shrine." Hilarious! I love the relationship you gave Kagome with Kouga and the wolves. And the oblique reference to the "red-haired wolf demoness" was great. It all worked beautifully. Now I can't wait to see how the guys straighten this mess out. ^_^

Ahhh! I want to hit them both! Poor Kagome getting stuck with introverts with way to much thinking time on their hands! It was a very well written chapter and I can't wait for more.

I find it really sad that Kuwabara would separate himself from Kagome emotionally and just automatically step aside for Kurama. Then again, he is completely human and it would never occur to him they could both have her so he just assumes she would be better off with Kurama. I doubt Kagome would think of it, so it will be interesting to see how you get Kurama to broach the subject. At least, that seems to be direction you are going with this. Of course, directions have been known to change. [g] best laid plans and all that. I could definitely see Kuwabara damaged by Yukina's rejection of him.

You are just really, really tugging on my heartstrings with Kuwabara. I loved chapter 10. (I've read it three times already. ^_^) I have a couple of questions. What does Kagome DO? How does she support herself and Shippou? And it's a bit strange that she carries Shippou around so much when he's supposed to be in the third grade. I'm sure he doesn't fit in with the human kids if his mother is still lugging him around. I realize that as a kitsune, he cold still have that really childlike nature and behavior for a long, long time, but it really would set him apart when he's trying to fit in with a world that doesn't know he's different underneath. I love it that Kurama is "so enamored with Kagome that he couldn't help anything around her." That's really sweet, and TELLING. I liked the way you spent time in this chapter concentrating on each of them with her separately. There are really four stories, of a sort, in this. There's Kurama/Kag, Kuwabara/Kag, and the love between the two friends, AND the love between the THREE friends. You're handling them all so well! Up til now, it's mostly been the three of them, and the two friends. Now the romances are blossoming, and they each will have a different path for that. I am so looking forward to all of it. ^_^ I loved her talk with Kurama, -- especially when she told him "I knew a man who wouldn't let me love him because he didn't expect me to, but I did." Kurama immediately discerned that it didn't end well. I can't wait for THAT story!! Especially since she also told him that he loves as easily as the inu love pack, and he thought to himself that the inu have been extinct for decades. Then, it was Kuwabara's turn to show us that his thoughts had turned from friendship to love. We got the lowdown on Yukina. It was so nice when Kagome offered him the scrolls. At first, she had said she knew the stories "almost like I lived through it." But then she told him her past was IN those scrolls and she offered them to him. What a beautiful gesture. And I liked it that he felt guilty for not telling her all of his past. The gloves were another beautiful gesture, and I giggled when she kissed his cheek. *sigh* Then, you had the New Year's scene, where he watched her and Kurama together and decided to step away when the time came so they could be a family. My heart just aches for him. This was an awesome chapter!!
