It definitely calls for a third part. What happens to Inuyasha and Kagome back in America? Do Sesshomaru and Inuyasha really connect as brothers or do they stay distant? What happened to Kohaku, Rin, Sango, Miroku and Shippo? Shippo at least should still be alive and I think would want to see them. I want to know the answers to these questions and I am sure there are others (both questions and people that want to know).

A fine ending. Glad they revisited the slayer village, and that Sango and Kohaku achieved some peace and closure, and are able to look to the future with hope. Glad both K and IY made it back together, and you ended on a humorous note. I'll be looking forward to your next piece, whether a continuation of this or not.

they have spring/summer breaks if they go back again... one gets the feeling of kagome's and yasha's desperation and worry for the future of youkai. so much to do and so little time. . . when is yasha going to see if he could carry kagome when he transforms (fazes out), maybe she can learn to transform with him? ~ thank you, ginny

Kagome summed it up well at the end of the chapter, but she just doesn't realize how important she is to Inuyasha keeping his balance between the youki and human. I liked how Inuyasha so quickly became dependent on a modern convenience, the cell phone. I also liked how Kohaku is developing into an independent ally to everyone. I am a little surprised at the offhanded comments about marriage, I thought those would be developed more. I am looking forward to seeing what happened to Inuyasha's people while he was gone.

Very nice chapter. Slowly but surely working their way towards a better future. Interesting take, Rin as a miko, but I like it. With Sess behind her, she'll be able to accomplish a great deal more, I bet. Still loving the IY/K relationship here, how they interact with each other, deal with problems, ect. A little maturity makes a big difference.

I am glad that Kouga and the rest of the wolves are ok. I really loved how Kouga kept needling Inuyasha about everything but still listened to him. It is good that they won't have to worry about their friends as much since they will all take care of each other. I am getting curious on when Kagome and Inuyasha stop going to the past and what occurs that convinces them to stay in the future. I hope Sesshomaru will also look after the other hanyos that Kohaku just learned about. Of course the big question now is "what does Kagome need to buy?" I can't wait to see what the answers to all my questions are going to be in the future updates.

trying to 'save the best for last' i got behind on my reading and there was already another chapter posted. . . a difficult decision, when exactly they will stay in the present. it seems they will be leaving something of a foundation for a few youkai, then again all 'human friendly' youkai that existed before she fell down the well will probably continue to exist, the ones who have always been separate will continue that way. . . lovely to see everybody again and one still worries on their fates. . . ~ delighted, ginny

Nice reminder of the others that the gang have met through the years. I liked the fight between Inuyasha and Kagome and how she accidentally sat him. Inuyasha seems to be giving Kohaku and therefore Sesshomaru a lot of food for thought over humans and hanyous. Good for you and them. It will be interesting to see how Koga reacts to the news and to Kagome and Inuyasha being mates. I am looking forward to that.

This is an awesome story. I really enjoy your writing. Kagome seems to be in some need of maturing though. I think she uses that sit command a bit to much and too easily. I don't know how Inu puts up with it. Thank you for sharing your story ... Dei

Yep, figures nosey Sess would figure something was up. What will he do with the info is the question. Good to see Jininji again, I wondered about him. Really hope he makes it, I've always like him. It's nice to revisit old friends, and see how they're doing, after Naraku. Good also to see IY doing his part to save/help them.
