i loved the building tension of this chapter. from inuyasha's first questioning thoughts of the changes in kagome, to kagome's final meltdown. it was riviting! both girls will feel the guilt associated with the destruction of tokyo, but to what extent. will they insist on going back, to try and help? or will the guilt they feel weaken their minds to other's influence? i can't wait to see how you work this out. i loved your slide show, by the way. it did give quite a few clues as to the progression of this story. i can't wait to see when you work them in. thank you for a great chapter.

Great chapter. I can't believe that even Cernonnus would destroy a city populated by millions like that. But, then again, I shouldn't be surprised at all; Cernonnus is utterly ruthless, but this is a lot even for him. But he may have awakened something that he definitely isn't reay to tangle with. Kagome's power seems formidable now...but she is so out of control. I hope she hasn't hurt the boys (especially her mate) since she lost it like that. I can't wait to find out!

Uh oh... Kagome is PISSED OFF... I was wondering about her friends... Poor InuYasha, he doesn't know what to do! Kagome's ging to feel so angry and yet so guilty about her frinds if they died.

That seems to be a scary Kagome. I can't tell if that was a good thing or a bad thing for her power to let loose like that, especially since you had Inuyasha worried about her earlier in the chapter. Good writing skills to leave it like that, it draws the reader further into the story to see what happens next. You are getting a better balance of the characters and showing the behind the scenes feelings and thoughts more often too. I wonder how Cernonnus's attack of Tokyo is going to be handled or hidden. I am curious how the world is going to react to it. The news coverage reminds me of what is seen in Godzilla movies that I wonder if people will believe it at first. The thoughts of Inuyasha on Misery and how she mirrors some of his feelings in the past were well done. This will give him an idea on how to give Sesshomaru advice on dealing with her. It would be such an ironic twist by having Inuyasha give aid to Sesshomaru in dealing with mates and also how to protect the girl while fighting that I hope you don't pass it by. I am eagerly looking forward to seeing what you come up with next for this story.

I think it is hilarious that Miroku and Sango are the only couple not fighting right now. Inuyasha should know better then suggest Kagome lose another tie to her family right now. She first lost her mother and brother then the shrine and now her grandfather. Buyo is the only reminder of her family that she has left and she isn't going to give it up easily. And Sesshomaru should remember that Misery is not easily ordered around and that she is going through a lot at this time. I did find it very amusing that Inuyasha was in a position to give advice to Sesshomaru on women. I was glad to see Kouga survived into the future and is around to give aid to the group without causing more conflict. I assume that he mated with Ayumi. It will be interesting to hear how she, Ginta and Hakkaku are doing and how many children Kouga has. I would like to see some more interaction between Inuyasha and Kouga starting to get along and become friends. I am waiting to see what happens next.

*cries* Poor Kagome, losing her Jii-chan. I wondered if that was going to come into play. She still have Buyo, though! I can't see her letting go of the fat cat any time soon. You have a few spelling mistakes here and there, just simple things that stick out, nothing big. I feel rude pointing them out in a review, though, would you like me to email you with the few? I am not real surprised that Sesshomaru would revert to the cold facade when his mate is threatened. It is how he is used to dealing with threats. Sesshomaru should be careful or he will have an angry hanyou, miko, monk, taijiya, fox demon and nephilim ganging up against him for his arrogance. I am surprised that Inuyasha isn't cursing a bit more since his mate is threatened also and that is how he deals with threats. What has been going on with Miroku and Sango since the attack. We had a little glance at Sango when she went with Kagome to "rescue" Misery but that is it. I am sorry that Kagome's grandfather died but he was an old man and it probably is for the best since he lost Souta and Kagome's mother. There would be no one to take care of him except Kagome and Inuyasha and they are busy now fighting evil and will be busy later with their kids/pups. I am curious as to why none of Kagome's friends from the future have tried to contact Kagome. They should try, at least to express their sympathy over the loss of her last family member. I am sorry that it will be some time before you can update but I understand the reason behind it. See you when you can update.

sesshoumaru has his game face on! it's comforting to see the brothers in a more familiar relationship. i love them working together, but i recognize them as adversaries. just what is it that misery is not telling the other girls? being the decendent of a fallen angel does she have the power over life and death? or does she have a connection with somethig that does? i'll wait patiently for my answers, and thank you for a great chapter.

When I wrote the last review I forgot there was another chapter to read, so I didn't have too long to wait to satisfy my curiousity. I need to stop doing these so late. I loved the confrontation between Cernonnus and Sesshomaru. That was a good mix of action and insults. Inuyasha's reaction was good too, both at the battle and with Kagome. Since they have now seen a little of what Cernonnus is capable of they can better prepare to face him. At least the guys are now aware of the secret attack against the girls and can help fight the psychological battle they are fighting. Sesshomaru showing the care he did to Misery was very touching. He won major points with her over this I am sure. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Poor Misery fighting by herself, especially having to face Cernonnus by herself. At least Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are on the way to help her out. Then it will be poor Cernonnus since he raised the protective instincts in both inu males. I feel bad for Misery though, especially when she remembers or is told that she attacked Shippo and that is where the blood that was on her sword came from. She is going to have a hard time forgiving herself for that. I am, as always, curious about what happens next.
