I love how she had to repeat many emotional statements because she's so unsure of how she really feels but won't admit it, like she has to keep "reminding" or convincing herself that she has no regrets. We never see much of Kikyo's vulnerable side, nor her perspective on the Inu/Kag relationship. It was also nice reading a fic that goes into detail about her relations to Kagome, even though it differed from that which we're familiar with (one is the reincarnation of the other). Not to mention the perfect song choice; the breaks between story and song were flawless. Nice job!

I like this story. You did well with the first person narrative. It can be tricky sometimes and you did well with it. What I really liked was how you left an implication that Kikyou does have regrets about her life and the choices she made. From the way she talks about the love she still feels for Inuyasha and her feelings about having to sleep with Naraku I think that some part of her is wondering about if she made the right decisions. But then we all wonder about the path not taken.

I think that this stories' ok... I don't love it cause I'm not a big fan of Kikyo... but i still think the story is good none the less.

I loved it! I've never seen a fanfiction from Kikyo's point of view and it was interesting getting into her thoughts.
