I'm both afraid of, and anxious for, the final chapter of the manga, but I think you portrayed what I hope happens perfectly. I was not confused by the italics in the slightest. We all know his "keh" has a wide variety of meanings, and it's nice to see that Kagome knows it, too.

i'm wondering what takahashi-sama has in store for us in the last chapter... i'm afraid to look. . . this was lovely, although his vocabulary is just quite extensive i like the concept. body language, facial expression and inflection can convey a lot and you described it well. ~ a pleasure, ginny
