Great story! Had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I love short stories that have action and adventure, yet also carry a deeper meaning. And that ending was fantastic! You can never truly banish the darkness, can you? I look forward to reading more of your work.

Well done! And I especially liked that scene with the bird at the very end. So reminiscent of every good horror film I've ever seen, to let us all know that it's not *really* over yet, after all.

Amazing. Especially that ending. It was simple, happy, but at the same time...not because the darkness still got someone (the bird). Congrats on finishing this and thank you sooooo much for posting! It was definetely an interesting read. Happy...er...day-after-Halloween! :D ~Amber

bad evil entity. ♠ it's surely a nice coincidence that they have the strongest miko since midoriko to battle the thing in the cave. to seal it or even possibly eliminate it. then again if yasha has meidou zangetsuha possibly he could send it from whence it came. -- i know! teamwork! ♦ yasha and kag lure it close by making out, miroku tosses ofuda, kagome shoots hama no ya and yasha uses tessaiga's meidou! ♣ anyway... good chapter! one hopes yasha gets better before the confrontation. ♥ a delight, ginny

So...next week is Halloween. That means theres only one more chapter left, right? *cries* (lol) I really, really like this! Your style is fresh and interesting and each chapter leaves me hanging in suspense...which I LOVE. As for this latest installment, AMAZING. Now we know what the cave thing is, but the inu-tachi have another problem on their hands...because if I remember correctly, InuYasha removed the "talisman" from the cave walls. Which means something big, bad, and powerful should be coming after them really REALLy soon. I can't wait! :D ~Amber

it's true, if she's affected at all, she has always been the first person to break free of bad mind control/illusion stuff. your descriptions were really detailed and concise. one wonders how they're going to seal the entity or eliminate it permanently because i'm sure kagome isn't going to want to leave the thing to fester and then attack another poor unsuspecting creature/person seeking shelter. ♣ great job, great chapter! ♥ enthralled, ginny

Ooh...I'm loving Kagome in this. Rarely in fanfiction do we get to see her as the strong one getting all her friends out of trouble (when in canon, thats exactly what she does!). So this is definetely a gem. I love it. And, gah! I wanna know what the creepy cave thing is! The suspense is killing me! Again...what an amazingly written chapter, especially the scene between Yash and Kagome and the bandaging up of his wound. You definetly have me hooked on this. Till next Friday's chapter! :D ~Amber

Wow! You have me literally dancing on the edge of my seat wondering what'll happen to our poor Inu-tachi. I love it. Its suspenseful, thrilling, dark...and the scenes where everyone is plagued by nightmarish visions are really well written. Like, I could picture them VIVIDLY in my head. Till next week's post!
