I believe you, that you actually wrote this the same day the quake happened in Haiti. Something must have been shouting it out to you in your heart, and you translated it into this story. I don't think anyone will take offense, and I know all of our hearts are with the victims who were not as fortunate as those whose stories more closely resemble Miroku's. I think this was beautifully written, or at least as beautifully written as any tragedy can be. Keep up the good work.
