This is a Sess/Rin story I've been waiting for, it was so real. I have followed this pairing a long time and this is one of the few that really is realistic of how Sess would handle it.It was written so well that emotions come across without being so automatic and obvious. I really enjoyed it am so happy you went with Rin instead of Kagome seems like you have a true grasp of their situation. I really like this. I think the only one he's really fooling in the end is himself, of course. If he didn't care for her at least a little then he wouldn't be bothered to pretend for the rest of her life for her sake, he wouldn't care about her emotional well-being. Plus he wouldn't have crushed that necklace in his anger...or probably have even had a necklace to gift her with in the first place. Nicely done! |
