Congrats on the "Feature" status, this story definately deserved it! I still remember when I first read this- oh- about a year or more ago! I still have the drawings! (Actually, when I first saw the name I thought someone had ripped this until I checked on it and saw you just put a different handle for this site! LOL!) Very interesting, considering stories on any of the crew's life could come out of nowhere. And it was a nice parallel between Spike and Stainless, and where a life can go, if one isn't careful. The only problem is a few spelling errors, and periods during sentences where it should be a comma; i.e., "I'm covered in blood," she said, instead of "I'm covered in blood." she said. Other than that, an excellent story.

I just got done with your story. It was really good. The detail was gruesome! But it was still cool. The plot was really good too. Nice work.

I may not be the best to say this, but this was a stunning piece of art! Art in the sense I look at it, not painting's and color's put together to form a scene, but the words. The words that are a basic part of any story, being flaunted and used to their utmost. That's what I saw in this story- along with great characterization, a Cowboy's lesson, and some rather amusing parts. I guess I have to thank you for posting this story, 'twas an honor to read it. Believe me, this was truly a piece of art, even if it did have a few flaws... spelling, but not alot. As I said, I'm not the best to judge these sort's of things.

Who are you really niceday? How can someone inhabit that much imagination for one story?! The details were breath taking and somewhat relaxing. It took me to a place of futuristic lands... keep doing what you do.

I loved your story. If you ever decide you want to go back and edit it, I did find a couple missing words/wrong words/misspelled words, but that's it. Honestly, you're story was amazing. :) I loved it completely; it kept me enthralled, and the ending was a shock, but a good one. The way you wrote made me get sucked into the story. I just wanted to leave a review to show just how much I loved your story. ^^

You have the most incredible grasp with writing such vivid scenes. This is a brilliant piece of work. I wish I could write this well. The only thing that needs a little work is your spelling/grammar. Perhaps getting an editor would help catch those few words you misspelled.

You did a wonderful job keeping our cowboys in character. I can so clearly hear Spike's flat delivery, and Faye's dripping sarcasm. This is a wonderful story that would have fit in with the other Sessions very well.

I've been looking for a Bebop fiction like this one for forever and a day. It's just like an episode, plus it is well written: everyone is flawlessly in character and the plot is great. I would only warn you to look out for the occasional grammatical error. Of course, I can't critique much on that without making a hypocrite of myself. Anyway, great fiction!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. This could easily be one of Cowboy Bebop's actual episodes--the flavor, the irony, and the characterization (especially of Spike) are so right on target. 10 isn't high enough, this deserves an 11. The only thing is maybe two or three typos or using the occasional homynym. But still--that was wonderful, from Stainless' character, to his lesson for Spike, to the irony and little running issues/gags that always seem to trip up the Bebop crew--running out of fuel, the wall freshly painted only to be destroyed, Faye's dress getting ruined...the conclusion was wonderful as well, and at least it wasn't a total loss for them. You had me actually care for Stainless and hope that he would actually get the chance to LIVE for once...again, I can't say it enough--this was wonderful. |
