I loved this fic, and I loved the storyline. It was original, and JJ centric which is always a plus. I'm not crazy about the format, but otherwise it was okay.

Emm, I think you're my new best friend. You have a very good grasp of characterization, you write well, and you've written about a wonderful concept. I really love reading fanfic where Ryo and JJ get along, and this is an excellent example of why they would. I love the ending, as well - JJ is so cute. ;) My sole complaint is the use of Japanese, it's a bit of a pet peeve of mine; seeing as the story is set in New York and these people are supposed to be speaking English, I never quite feel it's appropriate to use Japanese in an English FAKE fic. But it's only a small complaint, and easily forgiven, since the rest of the story is so good. ^_^ I would love to see more of this.

This was kinda cute... The ending was rather unexpected though! But I liked it! I think it would be kinda cute if things had turned out that way...

XD This was a wonderful little fic. I absolutely ADORE JJ and it's nice to see fic written about him. Not only that, this was both amusing and sweet. I've always thought that JJ and Ryo *would* get along really well, were it not for the Dee issue, and it's nice to see that I'm not the only one. Wonderful job all around. |

You really made me feel for JJ. I was mad at Dee too. He acted like a total jerk, whatever the provocation. The way you described Ryo's manners, kindness, and sensitivity made me see him as more attractive than Dee for the first time ever. What a great guy! Still, you'd really have to work hard to convince me that Dee's cruel behavior was an essential part of his nature. He couldn't have been on his best behavior for two solid years faking Ryo out about his real character. I have enought respect for Ryo's judgment to believe that he wouldn't be with Dee if he thought he was a bad man. Still I think your style of writing is excellent and I admire your insight into JJ and Ryo's characters. |
