Hiya! let me begin with saying your fic was wonderful, finally! some stands up against bashers. I could picture Tea acting like that if she was incredibly pissed. I could relate to the past you've made for her. I grew up pretty much with myself. I'm not gonna declare myself pro-Tea, 'cause I'm really not. But I do find Tea-bashing and general bashing soo stupid. If you don't like a character, fine. Just don't keep bashing 'em to no end. It's like picking on that one person, humiliating them, when in reality your jeaolous of them. Anyway, good work on this. It probably won't stop the bashing, but it'll do something about it.

I'm not a Tea fan, neither a Tea hater. In fact, I don't know really well why people hates her -he's only a girl that believes in friendship, isn't her? I haven't read the manga so I can't say if what you say of Tea being alone is true or not, but if you invented her past, I think it can suit perfectly her. Maybe... Could it be that you based the fic on personal experiences? Well, it doesn't matters, perhaps I'm just thinking too much like always. I only wanted to say that. ^^ By the way, I love your website "Transition" and your other fanfic -it's strange because being the jealous Seto fangirl I am, I loved reading the story. I also consider myself the only Spanish Mary-Sue that has admited her condition LoL. ^^ I'm sorry if I made many mistakes writing, my English isn't very good and I've lost my English dictionary. ^^U Mata ne!

Okay, this was definately interesting, but you made a mistake. You portrayed Tea totally wrong. You're trying to put some truth behind it, right? well, as a Tea-basher, let me tell you why I hate her so much, and where you went wrong in this.. Tea, isn't a wall flower. She's one of the more popular girls if I remember the manga correctly. Her and Yugi have been friends since childhood. She's always had at least one friend. And she is strong. She's not that needy. She stands up for Yugi in the very first manga, when Tristan and Joey are being stupid. Then, when Yugi saves Joey and Tristan from a severe beating, Joey becomes Yugi's friend, right? so does Tristan, though not quite so much. So, Tea then also becomes Joey's friend, and Tristan's as well. That's the true Tea. She's had at least one good friend since she was little. That's also why I hate her so much. The reason why I hate Tea so damn much, is because she's near perfect, in a world I consider heaven, while I'm stuck here. In the real world. Where I can't be popular, can't have a chance with anyone worthwhile, can't help my childhood friend save the world. I hate her, cuz I'm jealous of her. Don't we all?

The only reason I felt that cursing was more a part of the fiction is because we all tend to be a little OOC when we get angry, or at least I do. I do and say things I would never do otherwise, and most of us probably act the same way, so...that's why I wrote it that way. Plus, she's bitter in this fiction, and cursing lends itself well to bitterness, or at least in my experience. Thanks for your input and I hope to see your own fanfiction soon. | Title: At last! Being a rather large Téa fan(boy), I can honestly say that all the numerous Téa/Anzu-bashing fics that I've seen out there have really upsetted me. Sometimes I read the fic when it advertises "Téa-bashing," sometimes I pay it no heed and continue scrolling down the page. Occasionally, I have read "Téa-bashing" fics that were so bad, they have made me want to find out where the author lives, and bash his little head in. I do not wish to name titles or authors, but I can honestly say that "Téa-bashing" fics are written by pathetic losers with a low tolerance for the truth. I say that people who complain about friendship speeches either don't have friends, and don't deserve friends. Sometimes both.
Anyway, the reason why I didn't give this fic a full "10" on the "Enjoyment" scale was because of Téa's rather large potty mouth. That is so Out Of Character, it's unbelievable. I would've enjoyed the fic a bit more if she hadn't cussed all those times.
Also, I'm currently considering writing my own "Pro-Téa" fanfic, in which I get even with all the "Téa-bashers" that have angered me to no end.
In conclusion...
TOGETHER, WE SHALL NEVER BE DEFEATED! IF SOMEONE BASHS OUR DEAR TÉA, BASH THEM BACK! IF ANYONE ELSE AGREES WITH ME, GIVE A YELL! TÉA FOREVER! WHOOOOOOO! (^_^) |
