Nice work, Karen! And I thought Meskhenet was good. I think you did a better job with this fic, only because I never really liked Soujiro to begin with, and now I find him placing near 3rd or 4th on my fave RRK characters list. Anyway, an interesting story, but more than that, deeply touching. Moving, even. Keep up the good work! I almost wish that they had actually made these chapters into shows, but they would span about 6-8 episodes, and it would not be as powerful as the imagination. I still don't see why Jiro travels without a sword, reverse-bladed even. And I thought it interesting how mnay references you made to the Battoussai... Kenshin is my No. 1 character, then Saitoh, though you probably wouldn't pay homage to either of their characters like this. I think it is amazing how you can show how misunderstood some characters are, and how human they really can be. I think though, not even you could make me like Shishio, I will hate him forever, and hope that he gets what he intended for Jiro, the torturous inferno of Hell, instead of being its diabolical god! Anyway, that is just me... so yeah, write some more fanfics, even I need to find a story I can't flame, so yeah... ~kela~
