OMG! That was absolutely one of THE BEST fanfics I've read in so long! I loved it so much! Please write more Mono! You've got a knack for this! I'd really like to see another chapter!

Amazing. I am a huge Pegasus fan, and sometimes feel apathy for Yugi's feelings, and even anger at him for defeating Pegasus, and destroying his dream of bringing Cynthia back to life. But this fanfiction made me cry, and actually made me think differently on behalf of Yugi. Seeing it from his eyes, he is just a benevolent little boy, who tries to protect everyone he loves, in a selfless manner, giving up everything he has just to make sure others are safe. He even protects Kaiba, who has a relationship of hate and competition with him. Kaiba himself would not do the same for Yugi, in the same circumstance, most likely. But, in this story, even Kaiba's heart softens and bends to Yugi's benevolence. Also, the love of Yami for Yugi is seen clearly, in the great pain of eternal seperation. You can also infer the agony he must feel inhabiting his aibou's body, though his aibou is gone. I'd love to see more.. please, post more if you can! It's a wonderful piece, and it just begs to show more! -Nayamashii

Wow! *looks down list of characteristics of bad fanfics* Mary Sues -- GONE! Gotta love it the absence of those perfect busty ladies! Corekt speling and cehckign to makke shur on stupdi mestaks r maed -- Yay! Congratulations, you can use a spell checker! You, knows how too do grammar good!! and uses the periods at teh end of the sentence -- Again, those among us that read fanfics are very pleased that you've passed fourth grade English! Your story is plausible -- Jou does not sprout demon wings and fall madly in love with forty people, nobody starts a rock band, falls in love with the person they've hated, or has an awful angsty moment where suicide is attempted. Your story is original -- I haven't seen many, if any, like it. It's fun to read! I'm sorry this review seemed cynical, but you have an absolutely terrific story! It's a pity that some people won't read it just because it's not rated PG-13, R or NC-17.
