Whew, this is rough! You've really wrung poor Duo through some... stuff. But, when one needs to get away from a bad situation, one will do whatever it takes, ne? Very interesting idea - making him blind; but did you have to cut... I can't say it.... :( *Sniffle* Maybe it'll give Heero some food for thought: can he accept Duo back (if Duo will let him), knowing there may be some extra effort required to adapt to the blindness. Oh, I love how you let Quatre grow a pair! Yeah, he's cute and lovable, but once in awhile it's good to remember what he does for a living. Thanks for not keeping us hanging forever between updates, too. This is too good of a fic to have to wait too long for, kiddo.

ACK! A new wrinkle has been added. Kinda wondered what the repercussions of Heero's report that Duo was AWOL would be. I love Quatre's logic and the little banter between him and Trowa as Tro patched him up. As always, nice to see a Quatre who isn't wimpy.

Ch 8 - loved the way Quatre confronted Jason, including his observation that Jason had a crush on Duo. The tension between Duo and Heero when Duo recognized Heero's presence was good. Ch 9 - Ah, perfect that Duo would miss the subtle clues in Heero's eyes, and gut wrenchingly sad that the two of them aren't hearing all the things that are left unsaid. Quatre's apt summation of Heero's "botching" it was fitting.

Excellent continuation and you are spoon feeding us the chapters at a nice rate. Excellent story and the more I read the more I love this story. I love Quatre's part in this fic, he may be nice and prissy but underneath he is a force to be reckoned with. Angst is the guts of the story and you have plenty of it, keeps me reading the fic. Heero is perfect in this story and I love the way you have written him, ah what the hell, I just love this story. Look forward to the next chapter. Shae/Shea-chan ^_~

Go Quatre! I liked this chapter because Quatre is full of determination. As for Heero and Duo, I hope Heero doesn't mess up and Duo is able to hear him out. Keep it up and update soon.

I like that you've portrayed Quatre as having a backbone. Nice ending to chapter 7. I like the way you've shown Heero's thoughts in this, especially his one-sided internal conversations with Duo.

Heero was mean to Duo. I say let him suffer a bit longer. However, if Duo wants to be Heero and they are not together, than Dou will suffer too. Arg! This is a tough pickle... I think you should give this fic a happy ending. Keep up the good job and update soon.

Great story and you have to release another chappie soon, you can't end it like that with me nearly dying here. Love your style of writing you had me sitting on the edge of the seat with chappie 3. Looking forward to more.
