This is the ending that the movie should have added...You completed the movie storyline for me.

I thought this was a well-written and moving story that handled the relationship between grownup Chihiro and Kohaku the River Spirit believably and in good taste. The only thing I found slightly less than pleasing was the fact that the author killed off Chihiro's parents. She's an adult; couldn't she have made the decision to return to the Spirit World, leaving her parents alive, like any other adult child going out into the world? But that's just my opinion, and as they say, Your Mileage May Vary. It certainly wasn't enough to affect my overall enjoyment of the story. In short, I liked it very much, and would recommend it to anyone who asked me.
