Excellent writing, near perfect form and grammar, something that you see rarely in Fanfiction writing nowadays. I have to say, you did an awesome job and keep on writing, I'm looking forward to more work from you soon ^_^

The first time I read this, I missed some of your more subtle cues (a *good* thing. I like pieces that unfold a bit more, and a bit more, with every successive reading), particularly those dealing with the sensations of his left hand and arm and shoulder. I loved this story -- the quiet intimacy of the couple in their small apartment, their various routines that border on talismans, their ability to be together in companionable silence. More than many others, you're able to convey the characters' everyday humanity and make them people -- *working* people, like the medic and his wife in "Hymn" -- rather than characters in a story. And, as with the chapter about Faye, you have written this in such a way that, despite knowing the outcome, I was physically tensed reading it. Subtle, sad dread. I love the device of the flipped coin. It's a terrific unifying thread. As always, looking forward to more. And I hope I'll have the time and quiet to finally read "Suicide is Stainless" this weekend, as well as the re-write of "Hymn".
