Hi! I'm totally new to this site, but I really thought I'd come here to congratulate you for this great fanfiction! I read its chapters in the portuguese version, translated by Shampoo-chan (nowadays, on ffnet, she's under the nickname Analoguec). My english is good enough to hold a conversation or such, but not that good when it comes to reading books and stuff like that! Hahaha, so, I don't know if I can follow the original here, but I'm really glad Shampoo translated it and shared with us (portuguese-speaking folks XDDD) I came here looking for the new chapter, as I couldn't wait any longer! She's taking a bit to translate it, and I totally understand her, since this chapter is soo long, and she's got a lot going through her life, I believe... so, I'm risking myself in the english version! Hahaha I didn't even get to the begining of the chapter, but I really wanted to come here and tell you how great this fic is! (I've left reviews for each one of the chapters in the portuguese version) I just love all about it (most of... hahaha XD). The way you describe their relationship, the way you stick to really tiny details that other people pass right through, the way you describe their relationship development, and most of all... the way Sesshoumaru really looks like himself, even in love. This is just fantastic! I can admit here I have never seen such a great way of working with his character without changing his true nature... It's almost scary how you can handle it so well! I can really sense this Sesshoumaru is the real one, so as these feelings came in a so natural way... are you sure you're not Rumiko-sensei playing with your own characters? Hahahaha XDDD Though I can't really say that much with such confidence! Actually, I didn't read the manga or watch the anime series, just saw a couple of episodes, the four movies, and was dragged into this wonderful fandom arround six years ago (my interest in them came back a month ago as well XDD), so I know most of the characters from the fanwriters... but even so, I feel like I can understand a bit of them... and you're definetly the one that got the closest to satisfy my image of the great Demon Lord Sesshoumaru (concerning the original world of the series, not the AUs) I would probably keep writing things here about everything else I liked and disliked in the fiction, but I'm reaching the limit for characters, so, I'll need to stop now! Hahaha. I'll try to read this chapter and then, I'll certainly review it here, as you deserve the best reviews for such a great job and effort! Congrats once again on this wonderful fanfiction! I absolutely loved in a different light! I was soo happy to read Rin was prego! :D As always, extra in love w/ Lord Sesshoumaru for being soo manly but extra sensitive. **swoon** I totally agree w/ sunshine161820. I know it's been a very long time and I'm honestly not sure if you will come back to a House Divided but I know for sure I'll be reading it. Here's to hoping! ;)

So this story was WONDERFULLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!! I know im SUPER late in reading this and you prolly don't care but incase you do i loved your story! there was so much detail and rin/sess were so great together. And i liked how you made rin strong not totally dependent on sess. I hope her teacher finds her mates reincarnate so she can go out of mourning and be happy again. I REALLY wish you would have finished the sequel but considering how many years its been lol i doubt you will but just in case just know i will DEF read if you get back into writing again. ok that's all lol :)

Casually, I was looking for fics Sesshy / Rin and I found a site solely dedicated to this couple. Moonlight Flower Sesshoumaru & Rin Sanctuary. Part of fanfics of them is very good. But I think it has a few stories. Some 200. Next the quantity of the AFF. The site has no restriction on the type of fanfic. With proper warnings of age, of course. I wish theMaven-sama publish their fics there. I even recommended the fic "In a Different Light" at the recommendations of off-site. For years I have read and have not found fic better than this. And I also like to know what you think of the end of the manga. The end of the anime is also nearby. InuYasha Final Act. Thank you for your attention.

This is a marvelous story! I'm so happy that you decided to continue posting here despite the lack of reviews - ff.net does get more. I just like mm.org better. Anyway, I loved the story so much... I love the way you described Sesshomarou, and how, even though he hid his emotions, he still had them, and how much he loved Rin. It was just so wonderful!

hmmm, just for this chapter - 4- it was well written, and i loved the tension and feeling going between them. i think you captured sesshomaru's personality wonderfully. not that it hasn't been a long time since you wrote this but anyway, i just had to let you know... i'll be coming back with reviews as soon as i can - if i can leave more than just one that is :D

You have written a work of art with this piece. The story is compelling, exciting, sexy, and frightening. You have gradually changed plain human Rin into a powerhouse of knowledge and strength. You wove the plot with facts and fiction so well that I began to question which was which. Amazing. The Christian invasion is a brilliant insert that left me fearing for our beloved characters. The solution to the problem left me pondering how Sesshomaru will 'save the day'. Of course, he should refer to the knowledge that 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'. His lovely human mate would be a great source of PR in seeking the aid of the local religious factors in waging a war on the Christians. People will fight to keep what they know when faced with losing it. Maybe Sesshomaru will be able to admit that human assistance would be advantageous during a dispute of this sort. It will be interesting to see where you plan to go with this in the sequel. Again, I congratulate you on a beautiful story, and I thank you for the opportunity to read it. Rinseternalsoul

Well, so far, the only power that Tenseiga has shown is that it can cut those of the far plane, so ur explaination may hold, but i suppose that u most definitely are forgetting something here: Did it ever suggest that Sesshoumaru would save Jaken??? I mean whendoes he ever show that he cares in the public. He would have allowed Kagura to have died when Rin and Jaken were around, but when Kagura was mortally wounded by Naraku, she was all alone and Sesshoumaru would have saved her if he could. so, if an illness could have killed Jaken, then Sesshoumaru could theoretically save him due to the fact that diseases cannot last without a host, so there would be a chance for the disease to be gone if Sesshoumar were to revive him/

I did enjoy your story but you went oh so bad with the Buddha crap (sorry) en bonding where she has to be incarnated did you even think that through?????? So if they have kids which they will does she die and them and reincarnate to be a good mother again. and the ageing thing Making sess 19 isn't that toooo far fetched as well. And another problem I had was that Sess explaining things to Rin sounded to analytical. I could see a cartoon like inu yasha pop up and begin. Example: now the liking will begin for the to know one another. See the problem???

I had been reading thing on ff.net and couldn't take the wait. I enjoyed this story immensely. It was creative, well thought out, and I liked the lemons too:) I will say it did get slow in some parts, but other than that, it was great!

oh wow, i was wondering what happened to you at ff.net. im glad ur on mediaminer now. I can't seem to access any of ur other stories though, or have u not posted them yet? O_o lol anywho, im glad u finished this story especially since i've been followin it from the beginning. ooooh im excited for ur new fic house divided thats coming out. is it a continuation of in a different light? hehe update soon ^_~
