Bwahahaha! Great use of the fandom fractions, with all freaky consequences that follow. I especially liked the spaceship names. Great fic overall.

Excellent. Loved the plays on Eva fan-cliches (the churches and whatnot). Loved the Commander taking over from the Gainaxian Fuyutsuki. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Very creative. Wow. The conventions and the various fan wars on planet Gainax was really funny, the writing style is clean and easy to read.

Impressive beginning. Kudos! After a bit, I did indeed recognize the movie. As you said, the concept is all you needed, you don't need the movie's events. You've got me very curious at to where you're going with this.
