I have just promoted this to my short list of All-Time AUs. This was a great story and you told it in remarkable fashion. My favorite chapter was the moments of epiphany during the purge for Radditz and Vegeta. That was very well done. You captured Vegeta and Bulma's personalities perfectly and I bought every action they made--you did a great job using internal dialogue to show us their reasonings and motivation. The only negative thing about this fic is that you could use a beta, but even the urge to pull out my red pen did not detract from my overall enjoyment of this wonderful fic. Brava! *toddles off to the sequel*

yey yey yey! You updated here! I've been reading At Odds on your website and love yr work! Yes, this chapter was a bit long, a bit sappy, and maybe not as gloriously efficient as the previous one--but shoot, woman, it's a B/V lemon-o-rama! How could you deny your readers this? Weeeee! What a great story. Am following your stuff with pure delight and marveling at your talent for Saiyan romance!!!

Of course he chooses family over throne but it's always interesting to see how he gets there. This fic adds so many luscious details to that psychological journey, makes lots of damn sense (I liked how V was used sexually only once by F but that F chose to make him an heir instead of a concubine--that worked so well, loved that part!) and gives everyone a hell of a plot to ride! And now you've given us a little symmetry with that regen tank tease scene! The confrontation over the cold shower was perfect B/V. YEY! The B/V fanfic form is not dead--long live the B/V! debbiechan

I am sooo glad that after all of this Vegeta tourturing that he and his blue-haired angel are back together again. Now that they are back together, when are they going to get Trunks.

So glad to have discovered you here--this fic is so well-done, with all the grandeur of the highest, bestest, most emotional B/V romance! AAh! I can't believe I've been overlooking this fic! What a page turner, er, mouse-clicker. Compelling narrative, just enough reverence for the original anime, flowing imaginative scene changes. This one has all the best stuff an A/U should--I'm really entertained (loved it when Vegeta had to think of Nappa in a dress to keep his control). Will go now and read all your fics! debbiechan
