I really enjoyed this! You caught my interest right off! Not only I could see them in my mind, I could feel the unsureness of Takaya and the want involved on both parts. It's nice to see them finally get together. You had mentioned that this was your first yaoi story...it was wonderful! An excellent job. Thank you for writing this. Please... do more.

Wow, this was great! I have Mirage of Blaze on my computer, but sadly after the fourth chapter the subs are no longer! My Japanese is lousy enough that I couldn't figure out what they were saying, but I found the episode you were talking about... Man, what you wrote was intense, and I loved it! You never know, this may have happened had Takaya not ran off... *grin* Hey, if you know where I can find all the episodes subbed, can you let me know? This was very good in how real it is. I know that one woman said she couldn't see Naoe acting like this, especially after he called himself a mad dog, but I think this is very true to character. After all, Naoe STOPPED. I also like how you've accurately portrayed a first homosexual encounter. The truth is that most "first times" do not include much more than oral sex and mutual masturbation, so this is quite honest and moving at the same time. Are you planning on writing more fics for this genre? There really is a need for them.

A pretty good first-yaoi fic, especially in a fandom where so little of the available stories are in English! There are some technical errors...words that got by the spell-check, but aren't the words I think you meant to use. Characterization-wise, Naoe was a tad too calm for a man who'd just referred to himself as a mad dog. This was a sweet story, which is a nice change from the angst-fest that is MoB. Still, the characters need to keep their edge. I hope the low response rate doesn't discourage you from writing more MoB stories! (Heck, most of my stuff doesn't even get reviewed at all...)

The basic idea has been done, but you have written a truly enjoyable piece, nicely done. This was pretty good for a first attempt. I just kind of had a problem with Naoe being so reasonable. I remember how crazed he was in that scene in the Anime. That close to his obsession I don't think if he had pursued the matter it would have ended so nicely. Still a interesting fic.
