I'm getting tired of Ash's constant exposure in fan fiction I must admit (although I'm also getting tired of reading about Misty and Brock as well) and the idea of AAMRN is becoming old now. No argument about that. However the way this fic is written completely undermines the original concept behind it i.e. creating a non-Ash and Misty romance novel. Not only is Rudy identical to Ash in every conceivable way except that he has a different name but also the real Ash behaves totally out of character. He's mean, arrogant and gets jealous very easily. He's more like Gary Oak than Ash Ketchum in this story. I'm sorry to have to say this but it's just an AAMRN with Rudy playing the part Ash normally would get and Ash playing Gary's part. This fan fic has good potential but all of it is wasted. The prose style is dull and predictable too.

I really think it could have been written better. But I agree, too many damn AAMR, it's too odd. I liked Rudy better.. Or even Gary. Someone else even besides Ash. It's too predicted and too boring when it's Ash. Besides, Ash annoys me. |

well, I pride myself on being sweet, but the time has come to be brutaly honest. This fan fic was not good. I read a few lines and could not continue. Besides Ash and Misy WILL be together one day, its destiny! and 'sides, they make such a cute couple, when misty isn't kicking his a.... And 'sides that how can one not like Ash?! he is so cute and innocent! an absolute doll baby! |

No AAMRN stangely I find that Ash and Misty not together means there is something horribly wrong with the universe. I can't stand Rudy much like every other author on this site. If you don't believe me read me or my sister's fics on ff.net. |
