This is an amazing story. It's almost as good as 'Ebony and Ivory', which had 10 all around. I only bother reviewing stories that are interesting, and this one more than qualifies. This is by far my favorite Fruits Basket fanfic. You have a very good writing style that keeps one reading until the chapter is over and wanting more! Please keep up the excelent writting and Stay Happy! ^.^

I must say that this is one of thee best FB I have read. Its hard to find good FB stories. Well you can add another loyal reader to your list. No matter how long it takes to update. I adore your writing style, not to mention the plot for this story. I beg you to stop this cruelty and cease making us wait for another wonderful and intruiging chapter. :) In all seriousness, though, I can't wait to find out how it's all going to turn out and what's going to happen to the characters. I have to admit to also being obsessively curious about who exactly Tohru will end up with... please update as soon as you can. I'd really appreciate it (and I'm sure everyone else will as well!)

I'm new to the whole reading of fanfic, even though I become easily obsessed with new things. When I first saw Escaflowne, I couldn't get it out of my mind. I regularly reread the Harry Potter books and have even met J.K. Rowling! But never before have I ever really read fan fiction. But I'm so happy I read this. I couldn't believe how good it was! I watched Fruites Basket for the first time a week ago, have since read the Mangas issues 10-17 (or whatever the newest scanilations out there are) and am in serious danger of failing to projects due for my masters program this week. But when I found this story I just couldn't put it down!!! (And no, I'll be fine on those projects, I just won't get much sleep for the next couple of days). It makes me want to write fan fiction! It has proven to me (in a way that my limited previous experience with fan fiction had not) that people are not just wasting their tim when they write these things! Sure, copyright will prevent them from ever being officially published, but it will have made a lot of readers happy in the meantime. I think that these chapters have captured things so well, the emotions of the Sohma household, how they might have reacted to Tohru's losing her memories. As a Hatori fan, I'm glad she loved Hatori :) Now, constructive criticism: I find it just slightly hard to believe that Tohru would be so willing to give up all hosehold duties. I can see how she would find it difficult to refuse the car or other things, but the way she cared for her friends and family was to do things for them, like providing them with good meals, not just hug them or worry about them when they were sick. While she does seem to busy to keep a big house clean, I'd say she would still cook more. But if that's my biggest issue, then you must be doing well! ;) I will patiently wait for the next installment, and in many ways I consider myself lucky that I didn't start reading this when it began, because I think I would have gone crazy waiting for new installments! And why does Fruits Basket have this hold over me? Because unlike something like Escaflowne, which is over and done with, the story of Fruits Basket is still unfolding, so these fan fictions will keep me going as I await the reality! (Well, as real as a manga gets, anyways.) Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into this and congratulations on having a child and knowing when to put him first! (as in, not writing this thing when you should be caring for him ;)

P.S. I read through all the manga that is currently translated before watching what I have of the anime. I'm only up to Vol. 3 (I think that would be episode 19...), but as soon as I get a pay check better than $27, I'm going on a Furuba shopping spree. Hopefully they'll have a Yuki plushie somewhere. ^_^

Wow, this story is amazing. When I discovered Furuba a few months ago, I became obsessed and just recently started looking for fanfics. I found yours and favorited it but didn't get to read it until now because school sucks. Now that I've finally read it, I can't wait to read more. I love the way you explore the inner-most feelings of every character, even the smaller ones. I was actually at one point thinking of writing a fic with the TohruxHatori pairing but didn't know what reaction I'd get. I thought it was so cute the way she was just like Kana. Now that you've used it, I have some reassurance that it won't be a complete failure. Being the grammar/spelling/etc. freak that I am, I, of course, could see where you accidentally left out a word or used the wrong version of one, but those things occured so rarely. Also, when they did happen, I read right over it as if it were correct, then went back and did a double-take. I also like your use of an expanded vocabulary. My sister yells at me for having "such big words" in my everyday vocabulary. I just say what flows naturally. This is a random comment, but I'm mad at the manga translators. They're making us wait until April for Furuba 13 to come out and then until August for Furuba 14. I'm on Furuba withdrawal and it's not fun. At least fanfics are here to help me. ^^;;; Another random comment: I understand how difficult updating must be for you. Especially with a young child. I'm only 15 yet I find virtually no time to indulge in such comforts as fanfic writing. Good luck with everything. Time does have a sneaky way of escaping us, doesn't it? I feel afraid watching my own life slip past me; it's hard for me to imagine what it's like watching someone else's life (your son's). Just wanted to say I am enjoying your story...very unique! I've watched the animes and am now on volume 4of the Manags, so some things make more sense now!
