I really did love this fic. I guess I could be considered bi, (I'm a female) to the extent where I wouldn't rule out someone as the love of my life b/c of their gender. So normally walking around the street I'm straight. If, you know, that made any freakin' sense. Anyways. When it comes to politics, I tend to be like Ryo acted. Yeah, it can piss me off, but I don't beat the shit out of someone over it, I just kind of hope for the best and live/let live. *pauses* Am I rambling slightly? Anyways, I'm for gay marriage, or at least an alternative. (B/c, c'mon. "Marriage recognized by law"? *rolls eyes* oh yeah, that's seperation of church and state.) And even if someone doesn't agree with the political opinions expressed here, The realistic style of writing and the overall fabulousness of the story deserves respect. I think you did a really cool thing writing this, and I WOULD say that after reading this I added you to my favorites.... but you were all ready there, so YA!

Gods bless Canada, man. Ain't no better place to live than the Great White North (although where I live it ain't so white). I really do pity Americans sometimes. I mean, Bush is an idiot and a prick, but that's just me being me. Good fic, crappy politics. Goddess bless, -D

You know... up here in Canada (I don't know if you are up here or not, but in case you aren't) it isn't so peachy for gays. I'm not, but I live with an open mind and have many friends who swing either way. Some places recognize gay weddings, but most don't... up here you have to be careful, I'm afraid. Not in the violent sense, I don't think, but it's the recognition thing. Alberta sucks for that, because we have stupid people in government (that's where I am). Anyway, I love this fic, I thought it conveyed all the hurt the gays are feeling! Oppression is a nasty thing, that's for sure, in any form! Keep up the good work!

I would like to say that you've captured what every gay/bi man or woman in this country is feeling at this moment in our country's history. My husband got choked up when I made him read this, especially when you got to the point where Dee was telling Ryo about what he went through in high school and other points in his life when he was ridiculed and mocked for his sexuality, because as both a bisexual and a lawyer, he knows exactly what it's like to experience intolerance and having to hide what you truly are. Thank you very much for writing this and I look forward to anything else you undertake in the future. You are now on my favorites list!

Thank you for writting this fic. Honestly, when will this country learn to be tolerant. I'm a bisexual female and if it's in the cards for me to be with another girl I'd be totally out of luck here. This is an important fic and I'm forwarding it to all of my friends. ^_^ Great writing and a great break from all the smut fics I've read... theya re all well and good, but this is a great serious break from it. P.S. Calling Bush a "fuckwit". Priceless. ^_^ Somewhere in Texas a village is missing it's idiot.

-Bows down to you.- I adore you! Not in that way, beayuse I don't know you, but you get it, right? -Nervous laughter.- You weren't the only one who got pissed. I went on rant after rant, in my LJ, to my friends, even to my family and I practically got grounded for it. e.e; To me, I don't see this country as "free" anymore. They might as well tell us what to wear, and how to do certain things to if they have to justify who you should marry. -Scoffs.- Pure bullshit. All of those goddamned politicians. -Sighs.- But hey, what can we do except sit around and hope it'll change. The government would say anyone standing up for gay rights would probably be 'violent' when it's not. Also, next time I hear that song, I'll think of this fic. Great job.
