Nicely done. Usually multiple POV first person stuff can't keep my attention---it's just so hard to write well, ya know--but this one had me reading it all afternoon when I should have been doing other things. I do believe it's the tension between 02 and 05 as well as the unHeero, yet very Heero 01 that's keeping me interested. Good job working the characters. I do like Relena in this one, though I somehow don't actually see her character ever tolerating 01's current profession without frequent, liberal doses of the Zero System.

I know a lot of fangirls who would pay Miguel big bucks for those pictures. I think Duo is leading WuFei on, he's just too clueless to realize it himself. That's a good thing, I suppose, because WuFei still has hope. I loved the exchange with Ace. Still mesmerized by the fic.

Ack! Thanks. Read it. But I still don't like Miguel and Kayla. Though when i read his name somehow i always get the picture of Antonio Banderas from the movie Philadelphia. Dunno why. The Trowa-Hilde thing was a bit or surprise, but it's good. And why does Q ask such a weird question like what-to-do-with-spouses? Still think 2x5 is in order. You realize, you are actually keeping me from writing my own ff-s? :) Well, keep up.

I'm as intrigued and mystified as ever. Is Duo straight? I thought he was in love with Heero, he certainly puppied around after him like Miguel does to Trowa. What is the story behind the gangs and gangsters? It's almost as if they live in a sort of "Escape from New York" environment. I love the character interactions and I can't predict where this fic is going at all, which is a major part of it's charm. I am so looking forward to the explainations!

Secretive aren't we? :) Now, come on! Is there something going on between Duo and Wufei? And i don't seem to have gotten an explanation of "tastes like peaches", will there be one? I know you don't usually go deep into details but i'd like to read some 'action' or the others witnessing it... >_< And the question of questions: what does Rel do now that (i gather) she isn't the queen of the world or minister any more? What does Trowa do? And is it just me, or do you think also that Kayla doesn't suit Duo? These AREN'T flames, i just find myself heavily intrigued wiht the story and the holes in it (that i don't think you will not fill out later and i didn't mean to blame you for). Keep up with it! I really would like to find out how they have gotten like they are now and all that. Oh! And it would be interesting to read about one of Heero's jobs. (Why does he get off on blood?) Anyhow i really like Wu's character in this story and Duo too though i think his transformation from choir-boy to killer's sidekick was a bit too rapid and i didn't fully understand it. I don'k now what Miguel does with them, but i really-really don't want to see him paired with Wufei. (Maybe temporarily but not 'happily ever after'.) (Ps: i gave a 9 for enjoyment factor because i am frustrated that things reveal themselves so damn slowly!) Conclusion PWP-style: "more!... faster!... sooo.. goooood!" >__~'

This fic fascinates me. I love the breezy narrative style and the multiple POV. Reading this is like looking at an intricate painting; more images to puzzle and delight are constantly revealing themselves. The comfortable acceptance of Heero's "jobs" by everyone, even Relena pulled me in as well as the odd treatment of Duo. I like that you are slowly explaining the point of that; the pilots miss the "old" Duo. Heero laughing was a shock at first, although by the knife seller's reactions, I suspect no one knows Heero is laughing all the time except those who know him well. What I like the very best is the group dynamics. The comfortabe surface cruelty that hides the underlying affection. They remind me of a wolf pack: tender with the pups, careful of the shewolves, constantly testing each other and yet confidant that they each are loved and protected within the group.
