It depends on when in the series you are for Yu Yu Hakusho. If it's after the Sensui insident, then yes. Kurama can transform at will should he need it and Yusuke is half-demon so he can transform into his demon form at will too. Hiei also.

1. Does Kurama have the ability to change to his Youko form at will? No, though many people like to write it that way, he has to have exposure to the Fruit of the Past Life, it happens to him when it's a mist and as a liquid. 2. What was the name of that centaur guy who came to teach Divination in the fifth book? errrrrrrrr, *think hard* Firenze. Yeah, I'm certain that's his name 3. Did the book mention whether or not the centaur planned on staying to teach or if he decided to teach for a year and quit the job? Yes, he can't go back to the forest, Ron commented that he would probably teach alongside with Trelawny. You update pretty fast, compared to some other people, so don't worry. Thank you!

RabidFangirl101 is right, although there are a few more details. Kurama can transform when he goes under intense emotional stress, as seen later in the series. And, according to Japan's kitsune legends, they gain power at the sickle and full moons, and I've read some stories where Kurama doesn't have to fully transform on the sickle moons as he does on the full moons. And the centaur's name is Bane, I believe. Not sure. I love your story, and I hope you update really, really soon. Your story is what got me hooked on YYH/HP stories, and now I'm even writing one of my own. Thanks!!! ^_^

Nope, Kurama doesn't have the power to change his form at will - however, you as the author can give him the power as long as you give it a sutiable explanation and prescense in the plot. Can't remember anything 'bout the centuar... so your outta luck there. But I'm curious as to how your going to play around with this story... this plot is over-used, but I'm interested to see what sort of twist you'll use...
