I remember reading "For the Love of a Child" many years ago and loving the hell out if it. Today I practically tore my hair out trying to find it again. It'd been SO long since I last read it I'd forgotten the title and your name. I only knew I'd seen it on mediaminer.org. I googled it, searched high and low and finally narrowed it down to it's genre in mediaminer, which is where I should have started to begin with... Anyway, I am absolutely thrilled to see that there is a continuation. You had me laughing so hard at parts that I just about wet myself. (no lie. I know, TMI). Your style is refreshing and I am stunned by the detail and effort you've put into this story. The first part had me dabbing my eyes with a tissue and now I can barely contain my elation. Your work is perfect compared to the crap I've got floating in my files. Then again, most of my fanfictions are outdated and I've decided to take on the arduous task of rewriting them all.. yeah, it's gotten to a slow start but I AM getting somewhere... ....I'm rambling.... I do that a lot. *blames it on her adhd* I am dismayed to see that you haven't updated since 2005 but I'm not writing this review to bitch about the lack of updates. God knows, I've thrown out a chapter to a story maybe once or twice a year. I'm punctual when I need to be but for the most part I'm a self proclaimed procrastinator. Then again, we have this big annoying thing called 'life' that gets in the way. That's the only excuse I have and I'm assuming it's the same with you. Nevertheless, I am sharing my thoughts and feelings with you. I thought it would be nice to receive the notoriety you deserve...even if it is from little 'ol insigificant me (emo, blah). I'd shower you with compliments and every gift you could imagine but then you'd probably think I was psychotic and threaten to have me institutionalized. I am an adoring fan and would like to consider myself a patient woman. BUT, unfortunately, I'm driving myself mad with despair because there is nothing to read and I am dangling precariously over that cliffedge... *drops to her knees and musters her best pathetic-looking-wide-drippy-eyed-look* ...much to your chagrin. I must beg you to grace me with your gift of words and cease this merciless feeling of suspence ! ...or you will be sporked. I even drew an angry face on it! grrr. ...kidding... but eh. on a light note and in simpler terms (crazy font AOLer style) OMG lol!!11 U freaking Rawk my soxrz! I luv U! holy crap wow. Ur kewl!11! ....forgive me for my lapse of sanity. I swear it'll never happen again. right. Hope and pray to hear from you soon. I'll mourn the loss if there should be no further postings. even still...you will forever remain on the pedestal of 'great and nifty things'. ...jesus that sounded like something straight out of an episode of freakazoid... -- V
