I have never read the Vampire series by Christopher Pike, but read the Remember Me series. I did the backs of the books for the Vamp series, however, and remember reading: "Could her child be a monster? Would she have to kill her own child to save the world?" or something like that... So...that's how it turned out...bummer. nice poem, though.
