I noticed a few very similarity's to LOTR, ok, anyway, I liked it but there were quite a few mistakes in it, also you forgot to hit your spacebar here and there and you did not use your comma's properly. Also you might want to consider to detail the journey, and what exactly the jewel is and all that blah blah...it seemed kinda pointless without knowledge of that.
