Couldn't resist writing more ^_^; Anywayz, Sesshoumaru's Mistress, I'm happy that you like this fic, but I'm not sure when I'll be updating next. My motivation/inspiration comes and goes; If I make myself write, I subconsciously sabotage it... -_-' So, yeah, updates will be sporadic. Also, expect this to be a lot different; I don't like the generic view of pokemon, and the previous fanfics that I mentioned have gone a long way to cementing a few of my ideas. I'm re-working the pokemon world- I'm going to completely dismiss out of hand a LOT of information from the games/anime. Everything is going to be changed, but I'll be keeping it familiar, so don't worry =) Because of this, I need to re-work this fic. I had this AWESOME scene, very poetic/descriptive, but my computer ATE IT! I'll re write it at a later date, though, in hindsight, that was a boon; I'd forced a confrontational spoiler, and it'll be a lot better if I change it, because that (the fifth chapter) firmly set me on a road I didn't want to go down. Anyway, the female discrimination stuff is going to be played up a LOT more in the revision; after all, it's my central idea, which I kinda forgot about in my eagerness to start writng. Now that I look back, I see my fic as rather bland; I highly recommened reading the fics that I mentioned before. I think I might move all my other fics over here, see if anyone likes them as well =) Well, I'll shut up now; and go off and start writing!

Hopefully this will come up... Thank you for your comments, most especially Neko Kurama. *blushes* You really think it's that good? I write because I get an idea, and my muse prods me into action. Most of my other fics are on fanfiction.net under 'Aethyrial-Flame', but I'm seriously consdiering moving here, because MM doesn't chew up my formatting! I know it's been awhile, but everythings simmering in the back of my mind. Yes, i know that the idea is a bit old, but i like changing them into new, strange ones. Thankyou for all the lovely compliments, though. I actually hadn't considered the length issue; I like long chapters, and I assumed that other people would as well. After reading a few memorable fanfics (not sure if they're here; they're on fanfiction, however) such as, in order of influence, Xanthic Growlithe Contract by Facia, Pilot Light by Tashojirii, Gods and Demons by Keleri, and a Cynic's View of Pokemon by Coriander Wryters. These are only a scant few, but very memorable. As such, I've decided that I don't like the way that Defiance ahs turned out so far. Thus, when I get off my backside, I'm reworking the entire 4 1/2 chapters that I've written. I'll take the length into perspective, as well- probably pull it down to 20-25 pages in Microsoft Word. I don't like the genericness of it. She's got money, devices, and a pokedex.... Plus, I'm going to play down the rareness of Loki =)I have a lot of ideas about pokemon that will, hopefully, be intresting

Best. Fic. Ever. And this is from the guy who won in the Big Ass Fanfic Contest with a pokemon fic(I bring that up to much... -.-). Not even the craptastic pokemon wannabes spawned in Ruby and Sapphire could drag this down(there's a few good ones, but they can be counted on one hand, every game beyond Crystal is just a marketing ploy). Only a few notes for improvement: Eevee and its evolutions are, I think, supposed to be a generic mammal pokemon, and don't meow... And I have only read the first chapter (I'll review again when I finish them all) and with my short attention span it took three sittings to get through it, I suggest making them shorter. =^-^;;= It may be why this unbelievably good fic has yet to get a review. Low Originality because it's basically a rehash of the original pokemon story. Not that that is bad, I always wanted a decent storyline worthy of the game series it was based off of. I started reading it because you noted the discrimination against female trainers. That kind of thing always interested me, and the discriminators getting their asses kicked! ...Wait... I'm a guy...shouldn't I be against that? *shrugs* Don't give up writing, I can only aspire to reach your skill. =^-^=
