Just wanted to help you out a little with Hige's background. Though most of his past is unclear, what we do know from the series is that at some point Hige was captured by Jagura and given his collar. They never mentioned if he was actually raised by her though. The collar was used as a tracking device and his main mission was to find the chosen wolf that would help awaken paradise. The collar was also somehow able to subdue Hige because of those headaches he was having were caused by the collar. I didn't quite understand why Hige had amnesia or whatnot, but at the end of the series he did regain his memories. I'm guessing Tsume was mad at him because he once betrayed his own pack and seeing Hige "betray" them hit a little to close to home for him. Also that one women wolf that Hubb was talking to mentioned Hige too. Not sure if you remember that or not, but she was saying how they welcomed him into their pack only to have Jagura's troops capture all of them because of Hige. I hope that helped you out a little.
