Tease! Almost to the end and a decrete fade at that! I loved it though, especially how Miroku's being all devious and Sango sees right through him. Thanks. I'm really likeing the direction things are taking at the castle too as the groundwork starts to be laid towards the relationship we see between Inu and Sess in the future. Momiji is great. Inu should know that no matter how old you are or what a scary fighter you can be, you're still going to have to put up that sort of thing from someone who changed your diapers. Fenik is a brat challenging both his "fathers" that way! It was good to see him back.

This is a very informative bridge chapter. It was a nice change that you have Sesshoumaru being innocent in Inuyasha and his mother being cast out of the West. That was very refreshing. I hope that it goes a long way toward healing Inuyasha. The revelation of what Hakimaru did to Inuyasha's mother and the subsequent tearful scene had my own eyes tearing up. *sniffle* I hope that Inuyasha and Kagome both fry his ass and was excited that Sesshoumaru expressed the same desire. I'm not sure that I understood the secret analogy going on during the game 'Go' that Sesshoumaru was engaging in with Git, but hopefully, he will take the advice of Momiji. I am so glad that Fennik is Back! I love your sword's personification, by the way, and the name. I felt so lost for Kagome while he was silent. Imagine my relief when he came back. I had hoped that she would zap Sesshoumaru at least once for what he did to her. Stupid jerk. Every time that Shiori has her flying lessons, I freak thinking that she is going to have a fatal accident. I would be scared to death if one of my kids were doing something like that, even if they had wings! Giving Inuyasha a more mature countenance, compromising demeanor, and behavior that stands up to that of Sesshoumaru's peers, brings a lot of dignity to his character. It is nice to see that there are many who accept both him and Kagome, that there were those who had never abandoned him. Miroku scenting Sango was really cute. There were so many little details that I could comment on, but I'll just tell you that it was a great chapter. I can't wait for Sesshoumaru's trap to spring. It will be exciting if we get to see a serious display of Kagome's powers so that no one would dare to think of harming Rin. I like the idea of Rin being under Kagome's protection. The thing about the bad guy is that he operates like Naraku, using others to do his dirty work. Catching him is not going to be easy. I hope that none of our good guys are lost. You have given us many things to hope for. Eh, babbling and dancing around waiting for the next installment! ^_^ Snow

Oh! I'm not certain if I put it in my last review, but I love the humor. It really rounds things out and keeps the fic from becoming to angsty. "Target acquired...too small". I'm sure you remember where that one is from. Wonderful laughs! ^_^ Snow

I just wanted to let you know that your fic is amazing. You have so much that excites me. There is action (the most important thing to me), intrigue, budding romance, interaction between characters that brings out new dimensions to each individual. The pace never slows or becomes boring. I love that you have turned our hero and heroine into strong adults with excellent skills. I especially enjoy the new Kagome, Lady Warrior. Everything is so well detailed and specific. I don't know, or recall, if your plot was preplanned or if it grows as you go. Either way, it's thrilling. There have been no plot holes that I can see. Of course, I'm not a physicists (not that I think that they have the 'time' dimension all figured out anyway). With the intricacies of your story and what you need to do in order to keep it plausible, the fact that everything meshes so well is truly an achievement. I can't think of any aspect of a story that you have left untouched. And each touch is superb. There are too many details within the story for me to list all that I enjoy. Some are; the nickname 'Ship dip', the Fenik being and conversations that he is involved in, the supernatural events (spectacular), the great dog form of the sword, the military detail, and so much more…..This is one of the rare stories that leaves me dancing in place with anticipation of the next installment. You go girl! ^_^ Snow

Excellent chapter. I especially liked the response of the people in Sess's home to the return of Inuyasha. Not everyone hated him as a child and it makes me wonder what his life would have been like if he and his mother weren't forced to leave. I also liked that you brought in some of the history of the house through Git. That nickname alone made me laugh. The scene with Shippou and Miroku concerning age cracked me up completely. So did the interaction between Kirara and the "horses". The best thing in this chapter was some of the mental images you caused. Inu in his father's clothing with his hair tied up was a good one. Better was the "something-is-gonna-attack-me-in-the-bath" scene with Inuyasha. Fun Fun stuff. Thanks for writing for us and sharing this story. As always, I look forward to reading more in the future. Caitriona

Well I must say this chapter was a bit insightful. I did have to take a moment to stop smirking at Shippo's comment to Miroku. It really does sound like something the little fox would say, informative and teetering the fine line between smug and snide. I like the way you don't forget about the animals. They are more than just travel aides and you don't make them pop up or disappear because it's convenient. I realize this makes your story more complex and harder to write but it just shows your dedication to details and well thought out plots. I will have to rethink how Kirara and Kumo are ranked though. I figured that Kirara, while one of the group, was in her own class. That she and the tenbaryu were kind of like apples and oranges. Both fruits but not to be set better than the other. But I think maybe I was wrong to assume that just because she wasn't "one of them" that she wasn't also ranked. I guess being a senior member of the group would make her an equal with Kumo in the pecking order, plus give her a few added perks. If I'm wrong let me know. Git is going to have it pretty rough. Just thinking that all this happened before he started to date Kagome's mom hurts my brain at times. I am glad that his first encounter with Yash went well. Kagome just isn't strong enough to break them up right now. I still think Kagome should have flamed Sesshomaru when he said he would assume he was her ranking officer. I wish she had told him: "If you believe this then I hope that the fact that you just took on the role as a traitor, will not change your decision of harsh punishment. Can't have the great lord showing favoritism." Just thinking of him trying to punish himself would have given her a little chuckle but I understand that she was weak so she wasn't thinking properly. And I like your explanation of how Inuyasha became part of the house (again). What started out as a ruse became a reality. The simplest plans are always the best. No one thought it was strange that Inuyasha was around after Kagome "died" because they assumed he would come back anyway. I will give Yash credit for being quick on his feet about being nice to his brother and changing his demeanor back and forth. Let's hope his reflexes are just as good when he gets the shock of his life while pretending as if he knew along with a room full of demon senses focused on him. Then he has to worry about being human. There is no way around it he will just have to tell Sess, as suicidal as that is! Can't wait to see what happens! Oh thanks for explaining about the change in terms. The explanation of the kimonos was great. I will say that sadly I probably will forget lots of it and end up having to read this explanation a few times before it sticks...

Aww, I want to keep reading! But time is up I suppose...but I should be able to read some more soon, because there really isn't much left my English teacher can do to us, LOL...Anyway, interesting little drama you had going on in Kagome's head! Midoriko, Finik, Tenseiga, Kagome stuck in the middle of them. Kagome must really wonder about her sanity at times with so many voices taking up residence in her head. I'm surprised she hasn't slipped up yet and started talking to them out loud in public. Mother's would be hastily skittering away with small children in tow while they point and ask why the crazy lady is talking to herself. ^_^

Wow, I cannot believe it has taken me this long to read chapter 67! I'm really falling behind, but this time it isn't my fault! Blame my English Comp I teacher. She's horrible. We have 5 essays to write for the whole semester which is average, but most people actually are GIVEN the whole semester to write them. We just finished essay number five, with over two months of the class left to go. Yeah...anyway, it was fun to read some more of this story and destress a bit! I still have a while before I need to go to bed, so I think I'll continue reading for a little while. ^_^
