Just for basics, its based on Sasuke returning with Orochimaru, not too long before he's to be taken over, with a horde of Sound Shinobi to take over Konoha. Naruto fights Sasuke and gradually wears him down and beats the sense into him to see the light. The duo, along with Kakashi, go to where Tsunade and Orochimaru are fighting. The Godaime has the upper hand, but Orochimaru decides to lunge at Sasuke with his Kusanagi for betraying him. However, in a selfless action that saves Sasuke's life, Tsunade blocks the blow with her own body, dieing with a smile and asking Sasuke to beat the hell out of Orochimaru. However, before he can deal the finishing blow, Itachi comes and takes Oro away, and with the lack of a proper Hokage, ROOT takes over and imprisons Sasuke to await a trail that will be fixed to result in his execution. Naruto and Co are in hiding and biding their time. This is immediately after this all happens.
