wow that's really effective, the black and the red together works so well, I use that effect a lot when I'm drawing blood and stuff but I didn't think that there were many people who did the same, impressive pic. well done

Since other people have said some things already I won't cover though. Sounds like you already have a good idea too.. My question is about light source. Especially when doing pictures like this one has to be mindful of light source. Where is it coming from, how strong is it, and how will it effect the objects in my picture. There is no clear light source in this picture, which makes things slightly confusing. On the whole though I really liked the picture, including the background. At least you went to the effort of one. Most people don't. :) |

ok i must admitt that i rushed with this drawing.....completed it nearly in hour or so....i was actually in a hurry, i wasnt even going to do a backgroud...but then i thought i should atleast draw a few lines to create an environment....and i have already posted the technique i used with this one....its done on a simple white paper and a simple black pencil....i scanned it and then used the invert color technique in photoshop, some color adjustments, and....thats just about it! |

Very nicely done however the proportioning on the dead hero's left arm is a tad bit off. Just try making it thinner, also giving a tad bit more detail on the background would enhance your show of depth. You have a very unique style, and the technique that you used for this was simply wonderful. Overall very nicely done.

hmm..either you sketched this and manipulated it in a computer program..or this was done on scratchboard. :p i'm not sure of either...but anyway the foreground characters rule...and i like the story behind the scene. but the background is downright sloppy. >:) |

Heh, you are one sick puppy. Me likes! I agree with Dan, the background looks a little scribbly. The heart, great. I like how it's the only thing colored. It makes the rest of the pic look really dark and dreary. Cool pic! |

This realy turned out well, the style is very uniqe and works well for the mood.
In the future, try either making more detail in the background or simplifying it, having scribles made in a hurry doesn't bode well. |

wow that's good. heck, if you want to make it even gruesomer, splatter blood on dusk's robe. umm.. if you want the young dude to look really dead, relax his muscles a bit, and i would just shorten dusk's arm. this is really great, keep it up. its awesome! i love the inversion, great touch |
