I'm amazed since you're a beginner... I wish that's what my first drawing looked like, lol. Just some basic pointers I'd start with is work on the definition of some things. Like the shoulders and arms... they look a bit like elastic. And perhaps try some more folds on the shirt. Looking at people and trying to sketch them is something that will help you the most with that. But the face and hair are nice. Really great, can't wait to see more! >D

You did a fabulous job with everything except the arms, which could have more definition, and the pants, which don't have as much detail as they could (imagine folds and shadows). Also, his hand kind of disappears into his shirt, which doesn't really fold naturally, rather than a pant pocket.

Ahhhh love modest beginners, :) face, body, hair, line-work and Symmetry YAY! (Sorry, pet issue) are all on the money, only thing I can pick is that his hand seemingly disappears on his hip, I know beginners don't like drawing hands, heck I still suck at them, but you got to bite the bullet sooner or later, great work, can't wait for the next one. Biz ;)

Nice beginning. The head is shaped very nicely in the anime style. The body shape and size are not bad either, though the upper arms could be a little more muscular. Keeping sketching, Look at the lines of lots of anime images to guide you. And above all have fun.~Fanilia
